We didn't know there were trucks parked behind the store. Would have been helpful to have had a sign on the store door or somewhere

PIcking up the key was very frustrating. Instructions were to given to retrieve the key from 'lockbox 4'. There was no lockbox 4. There was a lockboxes 1, 3, and unlabelled, plus the return box. I entered the code into all the locks and none of them opened. I finally did manage to open the return box, which had the same code I was given for lockbox 4, by pulling VERY hard on the little lever, but the key that was in there was not my key, it was one that had been returned. You should be concerned that whoever is managing this location is using the same code on their return box as the one they are giving out to customers. After realizing how much force had to be used to open the locks (I'm a big guy btw) I was able to retrieve the correct key from the unlabelled box - aparently that is 'lockbox 4' despite being positioned vertically between lockboxes 1 and 3. During this process I tried to call the number of the renatl location - Western Heating and Pool Service - because there was nobody at the location. The number was disconnected. As for the truck - the gas cap was broken, and there was a thick layer of dust in the consol chambers, which I cleaned before returning. Overall impression is that whoever runs this location does the bare minimum, and does not care about the U-Haul customer service at all. All the other reviews on google regarding u-Haul service are one star. Have a read.... * * * Had issues with U-Haul rental. When calling to clear it up he told me he’s hanging up because a customer walked in and demanded me to call him back. When he’s overcharged me, he is making me call him back. When I called him back 4 times later he did not answer. Didn’t ask about insurance when I’m signing out the uhaul. Online I said no coverage. Guess who was charged coverage. Really wished I read the other reviews before I chose them. Do not go here. * * * Odometer Mileage of U-haul truck at pick up was 69920 miles. Mileage indicated on receipt was 69907 miles at time of pick up. Fortunately I took a picture of odometer at pick up but forgot to check mileage at drop off, so I can’t confirm total mileage, however it seems a little high. This may be indicative of a person that rips people off. Be wary and make sure you take pictures of mileage at pick up and drop off. * * * Poor experience renting a Uhaul from them. The truck we booked the night before was not there. He offered a different truck which to use for one hour and less than 30M was $80 and we were expecting $25-30. The place was closed when we returned an hour later. We will not be using this location again. * * * Booked in advance and on the day of the truck rental the store was not opened for me to pick up my truck at the stated time. Very unreliable. Don’t pick this location unless you want to add more stress to your list on moving day. * * * If you care at all about the experience of your customers, please consider removing this person's ability to rent your equipment.
SETH LThe trailer location makes it very difficult to remove from the lot unless the lot is empty. Location itself was very convenient
