My comments aren't necessarily directed towards this specific location but U-Haul as a whole. The way this company treated me was a complete disgrace! Over a two day period I called them 11 times total and was only able to speak with someone 1 time. The phone system has a "glitch" which drops customer calls and CONVENIENTLY U-Haul doesn't allow their agents to call back the customer to handle the issue. I booked a truck on September 1st and the day before was told that I had to go to a different location because it wasn't available. That location was 9 miles FURTHER from the original each way. Once I showed up there, I wasn't able to pick up the truck because whoever set up the reservation, knowing that the facility was closed set up the reservation for 24/7 share but still selected the option for me to wait until they opened WHICH THEY DONT ON SUNDAYS! That particular location doesn't have any cell phone or internet reception so I had to go back and forth another 5 miles to be able to call U-Haul AGAIN and of course didn't reach anyone. At this point we are at an extra 28 miles for my trip. We went back to the original U-Haul location where the truck was booked in the first place and the darling employee named Chloe did her very best to try and assist us. She called U-Haul directly and they kept giving her the run around so we said forget the truck, you have a trailer here so cancel our original reservation and we will take the trailer. Even though Chloe was continuously refreshing her system, there was NO reservation for that trailer but OF COURSE U-Haul wouldn't agree to give it to us because mileage isn't charged on that trailer so why give it to me and lose money right?! I spoke with the representative myself and was very upset at the way they were treating us at which point a new voice came on the phone without introducing themselves, I believe this was the supervisor named Rose who was completely unprofessional and rude and treated me like I was the problem! Knowing that we needed to get this done quickly since at this point it is 10:30 and the reservation was for 9AM, Rose forced us to go back another 20 miles to pick up a truck at a different location and then come back up to where we were since our storage facility was located there, at this point we are at 68 miles out of our way to pick up a truck we booked 2 weeks in advance and all we received for our troubles was a bunch of attitude and 39 free miles. ARE YOU KIDDING ME U-HAUL?! IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS!?

To whom it may concern, I am writing to in regards to above contract. I rented this Van to move my son back to go college we carried numerous plastic totes and boxes. I was just notified by the rental location that I (Apparently dented the the inside fenders) this is absurd. There is no way this could have happened moving plastic totes and cardboard boxes. I am disputing this allegation and want this corrected immediately. I am not one to get upset about things but this allegation is totally fabricated. I will never return as a customer to this location and rest assured I will be warning my friends on social media about what kind of a scam is going on here with this location. Is this the way U Haul does business?

The gate was closed and we didn't have a code and it was Sunday so we can't rate the place. We got lucky and a storage customer came out and opened the gate for us. We dropped off the U-Haul and left. The location is a half mile from my home so it is very convenient.

Please show a new driver where the gas tank, headlights and other aspects of vehicle before leaving the lot. There were so many distractions that my licence was left at the u-haul office. I drove 125 miles not realizing my headlights werenâ€™t on during a horrendous rainstorm. I thought they were automatic, only to realize the yellow lights were the only thing on. I was terrified and on a highway that offered no shoulder. I pulled over on the first exit to ask if my headlights were on. They werenâ€™t. Thankfully the gas attendant found the â€œknobâ€ to turn my lights on. Most vehicles have automatic lights. A novice to u-haul vans and trucks, will NOT know this.So, I was driving without my license, no headlights and gassed up twice at $65.00!! Please have the salesperson give a rundown on such necessities...headlights and gas tank location. I would love to be compensated for at least $35.00 for the stop at the gas station that helped me with the lights. Thank you. ( firstname.lastname@example.org ) 570-228-1999.
