Verify and change tires when tread wear is poor. One of the tires on the trailer failed. Fully check the connector cables between the truck and the trailer. The cable on ours worked initially and then stopped working. Due to multiple failures on the trailer, I requested a refund for the price of the trailer multiple times from different people, and they said that they needed to fill out a form, but it never happened.

I arrived to pick up my U‑Haul after being told by Cammy that everything was set up and that someone would be on-site even though I would be arriving an hour after closing. Unfortunately, no one was there when I arrived, so I had to complete the checkout through the U‑Haul app. The process worked, but it required multiple forms of ID—including a passport—which felt unnecessary and inconvenient. After calling the corporate help line, I was finally able to complete the checkout and get the truck. The interior of the truck was clean and in good shape. However, the exterior looked like it hadn’t been washed in quite some time, with a heavy buildup of bugs. That’s the reason I marked it as “not clean”—a quick pressure wash before putting it back into service would have made a big difference. My only broader comment is that U‑Haul should check in with some of these pickup locations to ensure they present a more professional appearance. Everything ultimately worked out, but the experience was definitely a bit clunky.
