In the final invoice, I noticed an error in the starting mileage. The van showed 17,777 km at the start, but the invoice listed 17,740 km. When I returned it, the mileage was 17,820 km.So I actually drove: 17,820 − 17,777 = 43 km But I was charged: 17,820 − 17,740 = 80 km This means 37 km were overcharged.Without the photo I took at the beginning, I would have paid for kilometers I never drove. In addition, I only drove 43 km, yet refueling cost $29, which is very high.I want to thank Lindsay Belzie from customer service, who approved the refund, although I have not received it yet.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkLa seule chose que je n’ai pas comprise concerne la facture. Le montant initial était de 70 CAD pour 4 heures de location. J’ai eu un retard d’environ 1 h 30, et je reçois une facture supplémentaire de 95 CAD. Je ne comprends pas cette double facturation : la première basée sur le temps et la deuxième sur le kilométrage. Pour une location totale de 5 h 30, je reçois donc une facture de 165 CAD. Cela ne correspond pas vraiment à l’estimation indiquée sur votre site, qui me donne environ 90 CAD sans taxe (103 CAD TTC) pour 70 km, ce qui correspond à la distance que j’ai parcourue. Serait-il possible de m’expliquer la différence entre l’estimation affichée sur votre site et le montant final de 165 CAD facturé? Merci d’avance pour votre clarification.
