Not happy with the customer service I got from their this time, i filled up the tank at the gas station on the corner and when i got to the site it said less than what i put in to it. even showed my receipt that i put gas in and he didn't take of the charge for gas.

When I scheduled the van online, I provided information as to when I would return it to the store. I received a voicemail 2 hours before the van was due back to inform me another family was waiting and that I needed to return it. When I called the store to say I was still using the van, the employee said "I will see what I can do." It was not my problem that U-Haul scheduled another user during my scheduled time. Also, when I initially picked up the van, I asked about after hours drop-off and was told by the employee that it was very easy. The employee said that all I had to do was drop the keys in the slot. This was not the case. The after hours drop-off was not user-friendly, involved uploading pictures and was a lengthy process. I can't imagine how difficult after-hours drop-off would be for someone who does not have a cell phone or an established U-Haul online account.

We helped our son move in Chicago and the van with the wide rear doors and the sliding side door were perfect for the city type move with all the tight spaces. Thanks to the consultant that set us up with this type of van.

Customer Rep was really nice & explain most things. But not the Environmental fee charged & he made a point to state that I needed to sweep out the cargo van after use, & then gave me a dirty van. When returned, had gas tank more full than was given & the return person kept harping that the tank was only near full. An excessive number of telephone numbers required to rental vehicle.

The Dryden Rd. Location was very helpful and courteous, The original location on Springboro, Pk, not so much. The lady at the desk was short with us when I told her that I did not receive a phone call telling me to pick up at another location, when I selected the truck the message said I would receive a call if the location changed. I selected a phone call because my husband does not do text messages. She told me that they sent a text. He tone to me said It did not matter if he didn't do text, that's what then sent. We had a limited time frame to move furniture out of and elderly couples apartment and the added distance made it a little bit harder.

I went to the location and no one was there. The phone number left on the door no one answered. When I went to a different location the gentleman did help me but did not have the trailer I wanted to rent. I had to get a smaller one. I called customer service and they essentially told me too bad. I will be renting from another company.

The good: Vehicle pickup and drop off was easy. Being able to see availability of a vehicle at various locations on the website is nice, but... The not good: Although it was good to know vehicle availability on the website, I found the navigation awkward. Tough to know which location was selected. Even the confirmation email, amazingly, did not have the address of pickup. It only had the name of the facility which is not helpful. The truck was not checked well, or at all, before we departed with it. There were small pieces of broken glass all up and down the loading ramp. The inside smelled like a garbage truck. Finally, a snow shovel was left loose on top of the cab. This wasn't discovered until it flew off the vehicle while driving. Luckily no vehicle was behind us and it fell in a median. Not removing this before we left the premises is pretty negligent. Someone could have gotten hurt.

You changed my reservation to a different location, without telling me. I wasted time signing in online, I had to waste time going through the whole process again and staff was rude. Staff did mot assist me hooking up the trailer

The trucks are usually dirty all the time. This particular rental had serious braking issues. Not safe when traveling with a full load. You folks must maintain these vehicles better, its a safety thing. I rent from this store because its convenient however, I expect the vehicles to be in good working order.

Our reservation was made and confirmed at the 234 Springboro Pk location. We arrived 15 mins early waited in line only to be told the trailer would have to be picked up at the Dryden Rd location 10 minutes further away. We drive there and waited in an even longer line. The one employee checking people in/out was new and no one was helping him. He’s hands were trembling he was so stressed. He made several mistakes as he didn’t really have it all down yet. Then he would have to wait for the owner to help him. From the time we arrived at the first store till we pulled out with the trailer was 1:15!!! It was an all around horrible experience at both stores.

I was told the truck was on full when getting in it was only three quarters. In my hurry I did not go back in. Upon returning I filled the truck up and paid for much more gas than necessary. The billing department was helpful but nothing could be done since I did not take a picture of the gas tank I would suggest everyone to look before leaving. Other than that, the truck, location,manager and service was above average. I will use U-Haul again. I just learned a valuable lesson. Check the truck out and gas gauge before leaving.
