We had problems with the reservation where it reserved at a different location than what was ordered. Luckily I was with Mini Mall associate Ardis who made the reservation when I was called and told there wasn't a truck available. She straightened out the issue knowing there was indeed a truck available at her Mini Mall location. Ardis went above and beyond with this reservation including meeting me on Sunday (her day off) at the time of the rental and she handled issues with the U-haul app I had downloaded. When I returned the truck and followed the instructions on the app for drop off, it wouldn't let me upload the photos of the truck sides. I returned the key as I was instructed and locked the back of the truck but worried all the way home that it didn't get checked in. When I returned home I found the receipt from U-haul that I had returned the truck. Location was close to my home so my above average rating, Mini Mall Associate Ardis gets an above Excellent rating! I would recommend this location to a friend but not the app.

Online check in process was fine. Taking and uploading pictures was kind of a clunky process that can be improved upon. I didn’t like the reference contact or employer contact options and didn’t know that I needed a passport so I had to go home and get that. Also, as a homeowner I don’t have a copy of a lease. Renting a car is a much smoother process so if you can align the experience to be similar to that, it would go a long way.
