My rental was not in the City I requested. When I called the customer service the night before I picked it up, I explained I was going to use my mileage before my move started and asked for more miles and he said he could not make that deal. I asked if I could get one in a another city closer and he said there weren't any available in my 15' but one in a 20'. I asked if I could get the 20' for the same price as the 15' and again he said he could not make that deal. I asked if some else was there with him that could and he just said no this was what they had. An email to customer service and I got a call the morning I was going to pickup the rental and the woman I talked to gave me 50 more miles to make up the difference. I also got a voice message that I had a rental in another city farther away on reserve. This I got one the day to return the rental. I never received any correspondence that this rental was waiting. I called back and said to delete that rental. The Uhaul I rented was a wonderful van and all around great experience, but the online rental needs some work and the some of the customer service personal need more training to help the customers more instead of less.

I had trouble reserving online. I originally reserved a 17 foot truck but the location I needed to pick up and drop off did not have one available. no one called me to tell me this and when I checked online it had me picking up in a different location which would have added a total of 60 more miles onto the contract. It would be helpful if someone contacted customers when a reservation could not be honored.

I had no problem with the pickup location but I booked moving help that never showed up. I'm not sure if Uhauls website messed up or they just never showed up but I tried to book Husband Helped Handi Man Movers for the morning of June 4th. Moving heavy furniture with a bulging dudc in your back makes for a very unpleasant experience. Would have been better if anyone at Uhaul had answered the customer service line but after a combined 30 minutes of waiting for someone to answer I gave up.

The gentleman who was working the counter that morning (Alex) obviously did not want to be working. He was very curt and rude. He also did not want to allow me to leave my vehicle there when I picked up the rental truck. I was alone, so left it anyway. Very unhappy young man who needs some customer service training.

No fault to the store at all, but the inventory system for online reservations might be wrong. They had to go get a hitch I reserved online from another location. They had it there when I arrived, but I would imagine the inventory system could use an upgrade! Big thanks for them taking care of it before I arrived. Very good experience.
