When booking, we specifically requested a real person for check-in instead of an online check in. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a very personable and competent agent on a large screen in the lobby. If this is considered a "real" person, I would suggest explaining that to future customers because I didn't care for it. We also reserved furniture moving pads and a utility dolly. There were no furniture pads available at the location, and the only dolly available was an appliance dolly. We were charged $35 for these items, and they were not available for use. I'm still waiting on a refund. Before leaving, I expressed these concerns to a lovely woman working behind the counter, and she said she'd work on getting the refund. Also, the radio in the truck only played AM stations. I assumed all radios were AM/FM but learned that isn't the case.

The car was covered in leaves and branches. We washed the truck when I got to my home just so we can see on windows. The inside of the truck was clean. The inside of the cab had some trash from the previous person.
Kristina Fwhen I rented the truck, I was going to return it in Merrills Inlet, but U-Haul requested that I take the truck back to a location on rock 501. When I went to return it, I tried calling that location and no one answered and they didn’t have voicemail set up, which I thought was rather odd for a business. As it turns out that business was on vacation and there was no one there to take the truck back. And I end up going to Midgard. I would think that U-Haul would’ve check with with the location of 501 before they asked me to take it there fortunately I didn’t make it a trip for nothing and I checked before I tried to take the truck back there. Just really poor customer service.
