Very seamless and painless process to rent a truck. Just how it should be
Easy check in-out. Truck drove well but you didn't ask about the truck?
Customer service was 12/10 sadly had some small service problems with the truck when I had it lost all power steering twice. Passenger tire was at 30 psi others at 90 and the passenger door hinge was so wore it would keep the door closed when turning had to actually tighten the door hing myself to finish moving. Truck did have 80k on it so it's understandable for small things but uhaul is responsible for servicing these trucks and they should be to par or not rented. I let the desk know about everything after dropping the truck off they apologized and made the situation better
105 Rock St location was great. The man that checked me out was friendly, quick and knowledgeable.
Simple, quick & easy process like always. The sun visor was busted and wouldn't stay in any set position on the truck I rented. Other than that the truck and customer service was great.
Have the truck I reserved with my card on file next time. I reserved a 15ft with my card and I showed up to find that no one in a 25 miles vicinity has a truck that big. I took the 10 ft to find right before I drove off the mirror had been broken. After finally getting the 3rd truck after getting a refund and starting all over I made my way home. Upon dropping the truck off the guy was a complete dick to me. I open that back to double check and he starts yelling at me talking about close the truck and get out of the way. I won't go back not recommend to a anyone
Contracted for a 15 foot truck and got stuck with a 10 foot truck. Because of that had to make multiple trips. Wasted time and fuel.
Make sure Credit Card Machine functions better.
There were no furniture blankets available for rent. Need those.
Comment: The systems were down and the gentlemen working at the front desk were extremely patient and kind during my 2 hour delay. They were very helpful and eased my anxiety with small conversation. Very very excellent service from these gentlemen. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
My experience with uhaul was great and the man that checked us in was very polite and professional.Â What i did want to make someone aware of is that another employee appeared to be either very drunk or very high on something. He went behind the counter to help with customers and stood there and struggled to get his mask "off of his eyes"! When he finally got the mask off his face he stood there staring at it, turning it in all different ways trying to figure out which way it went, for a longer amount of time than normal. Being naive I thought, aww isn't that nice they hire special people to help. Then I realized that was not the case at all. The man was clearly on something. The guy that was checking us out couldn't have been more professional. He didn't say a word. I was very impressed by that. So anyway kudos to the guy that waited on me and get the other guy to rehab!
The general manager doesn't know how to do anything there,and the trucks were poorly maintain.
PROCEEDURE WAS DONE WITH A TRAINING NEW EMPLOYEE AND PROCEEDURE WAS ALITTLE TESTING COMPARED TO MY PASS EXPERIENCES AT THE MT PLEASANT LOCATION THAT WERE MORE TO THE CONVIENT AND SOCIALABLE OF THE CUSTOMER.THANKS.
I would like to thank Brittney for making my rental experience stress free. I loved driving the ecovan. The ride was smooth and comfortable. I would also like to thank the new manager I met there as well. I will definitely recommend this site to anyone who is looking to move and they can rest assure they will be taken care of by staff who care. Thank you once again.
Check in and check out was very easy, price was reasonable.
The sales associate was extremely rude and condescending and He did not pay attention to the amount of days we needed the rental for. And then I received a very threatening phone call stating that my vehicle was only rented for two days when in fact we rented it for five days. The lady who called me threatened to report the vehicle stolen to which I informed her I did not appreciate being spoken to in the manner she was speaking to me in. We have rented from U-Haul, this specific location, multiple times and we have always had a good experience. This last time was very unpleasant and my wife and I were made to feel like we were complete idiots. There is no need to speak to a customer in the way that the sales associate did on the day we rented the vehicle and the day that they called me stating the vehicle was going to be reported stolen.
The employees were pretty helpful and professional. They represented the company well.

Arrived promptly for our 630am pickup on 8/31 only to find this office forgot to leave our truck key in the box. Proceeded to wait on hold for customer service for over 15 min who told us we would just have to wait for the employee to get there at 7 and we should talk to the office about a discount. Spoke with another employee who echoed the first customer services comments saying we had to work with the pickup site and manager in New Bedford to get the discount. We waited over 40 min for the employee to arrive and get us the key, had woken up at 445am and driven all the way from Boston as we had movers arriving at 8am- (This was after we had originally booked the truck at a closer location and then was changed on us last minute to New Bedford and had to drive 1.5 hours each way). The late pickup of the truck resulted in us being 45 min late for the movers and late getting out of our apt with the morning deadline we had from the landlord....All because of the mistake and this U-Haul and when we returned it were told they could not give us a discount and we had to call customer service- opposite what we heard from 3 other employees over the phone. We paid over $300 for this U-Haul and I am appalled at the service we have gotten, different answers and the runaround on a discount which is the least we should receive for the mistake at the New Bedford pickup location. I would never recommend this location and specifically U-Haul in general after this.
Mix up on the reservation.
The gentleman behind the counter was very polite and extremely helpful. He went out of his way to find me a storage unit even though I hadn't reserved one beforehand (He gave me other numbers to call and even tracked down an open unit for me at his own location). First rate experience.
