Truck had trash in it. I was also charged for the $15 damage protection which I didn't want and didn't ask for and didn't select on the App. I called U-haul directly, and was told someone would call me about it, but no one has. Terrible experience, I expect I'll go with another rental co next time, unless someone fixes this for me.

Paula TThe customer service gentleman was polite, and our truck was ready to go when we arrived. No problems with the rental itself. Truck was clean and in good working order. However, we received the truck with about half a tank of gas, and returned it with half a tank, yet were charged $31 in fuel charges. This was done after we left, as no inspection took place when we returned it. We called the dealer and he said they had nothing to do with billing and we'd have to call Uhaul directly. LUCKILY, we took pictures of the console display before we left and after we returned, so it was obvious the gas needle was in the same spot. I called Uhaul, she was very pleasant and I sent pictures while on the phone with her. She completely agreed, and immediately refunded us the $31. ADVICE -- be sure to take a picture before you leave the lot, and when you return. Also, upon return, ask them to inspect the truck BEFORE you leave the lot, to avoid any shenanigans like this.
