One of the worst rental experiences I have had. I rented 27 trucks from U-Haul. I returned 7 trucks early. That is over 3,000 dollars. Dawn at the U-Haul location clearly told me I would be reimbursed for any truck returned early. As it has been done before. I relied on that statement. After returning the trucks, the story changed. I was told I would not receive reimbursement. No one took responsibility. No one honored what was promised. Keeping thousands of dollars after early returns is unacceptable. Treating a high volume customer this way shows a lack of integrity and professionalism. Awful people to work with. I will never rent from U-Haul again and I would not recommend them to anyone.

First of all, when I got into the cab of the truck to check mileage and fuel, the warning message for low fuel was showing with only 4O some miles to empty. How can you leave a vehicle for someone that has to gas it up before even using it? That’s terrible customer service. Secondly, I had rented furniture pads, but none were present. When I talked with customer service, they said that you all didn’t have any available at that location? Why didn’t I even get a telephone call letting me know that the pads weren’t going to be there in the truck? I needed those pads for my move. More terrible customer service! Thirdly, the storage area of the truck was dirty. The floor was sticky and there was piles of dark brown dirt on the top storage area above the cab. I had to clean the truck before I used it, especially since I didn’t have any furniture pads to protect my mattresses. Another strike against you. The final complaint was the filth on the inside of the windshield. It looked like someone tried to clean the windshield with a muddy rag. What an awful experience this rental was, more so since my previous two rentals were fairly decent. I am expecting a customer service representative to reach out to me about this abysmal performance from U-Haul. Thank you, Gary

WILLIAM BThis was a pleasant experience dealing with the young man at the counter. The truck was old but in good condition. I booked the reservation a couple of hours before I needed to pick it up and the only thing I couldn't get were the blankets, but all still worked out well.
JOHN MAs a seasoned citizen I know the days of a middle aged person with a company uniform seems to be over the young and who waited on me was well mannered.Idid mostly everything online except load my drivers license. I inspected the vehicle taking photos and when I returned it I stopped at a gas station about 3 minutes away and filled it up. Would I rent again in the future possibly. But thank you for the service your company provides it's much appreciated.
