My U-Haul was not dispatched properly. I asked the agent three times if I needed to sign anything and he said it was good to go. The app didn’t promote me to take any pictures or complete any documentation, so I departed the location unaware that there was an issue. When I arrived at my drop-off location they had no record of my reservation and informed me that the truck was reported as stolen. The drop-off location was very professional and helpful and sorted the rental out which I greatly appreciated. I will not be using U-Haul in the future.
Chantel GThe Owner / employee at this site did his best. The truck was an upgrade. My original 15" truck was unavailable, and I was given a 26' truck which I had to pay the difference. It had no hand truck, no moving blankets and no dolly. I was charged for all of these things as my original reservation and pick-up location had these items. Eventually, those items were refunded however it would seem it also was in need of sweeping since I was charged $25 dollars for cleaning when I returned the truck. Lastly, I had been given a reservation quote from U-Haul for $650 for the larger truck but was charged $706 when I finally received my receipt. Local place was ok but U-Haul was horrible.
JOHNATHON HIt took almost 45-minutes to get my reservation completed. The person at the counter needs to be trained on how to assign a truck to an online reservation. I called U-Haul and the counter person had to call his Manager.
Rob MProcessing the information was too slow because it was done on the manager's phone. Perhaps using a computer with a large screen would help. Very good experience overall.
