Cabin smelled of either pot or someone ran a skunk over. The driver door had to be slammed to close. Also wouldnt give me the vehichal I requested, got stuck with a 10ft truck when I wanted a Van

Bad communication. We dropped off the trailer on a Monday, and the next day received a call stating that we had not dropped it off. I had to grab some items from the storage unit so I stopped in to see what the problem was. Apparently the gentleman that received the trailer never put it into the computer system. A representative had to search for it in the lot and confirmed that it was really dropped off. It was a waste of my time.

I have rented a truck before and was always asked to check to see if there was any scratches or dents that they hadn't noticed, if the miles were correct and if the gas was correct. When I went to this location, the man that was supposed to ask me all these questions, just gave me the truck and left. The miles wasn't exactly what the paper said but it was only off by a few point miles so I didn't mind. I didn't think it wold matter since I was given a good amount of miles. I ended up being charged since I "went over" point something. I was only charge 4 cents so I didn't make a deal about it. Also, I had told the women at the desk that helped me that I wanted a certain drop off locating and it was changed. I ended up having to go across town to drop it off.

The equipment I reserved was not available when I arrived. After waiting half an hour, I was encouraged to take a larger, more inconvenient truck because the equipment I requested wouldn't be available for another half hour. After requesting a refund under U-Haul's "reservation guarantee", I was denied due to loopholes U-Haul has made for themselves.

The overall customer experience I had Saturday was terrible. I understand the location will always have some trucks physically present which they can't rent out because of reservations, however, I've reserved trucks at least two times at this location, showed up and been told trucks go on a first come first served basis, and this time there were two or three trucks physically present which I couldn't rent. Everything about getting the storage space was a debacle, from the employee not getting all the information into the computer that I provided and having to return to update my address, to the employee who sent me to the second floor when my storage unit was in the basement, to the fact that a half-gallon of gas ended up costing me over $30. I long for the day I can move my possessions out of my newly obtained storage unit so that I can proceed to never do business with this location again.

I called and made resavation on a truck. got there and the truck wasnt ready. the battery was dead on the truck and it took roughly 30mins to get it going. truck was very dirty and smelly of cigarate with ash from the cigarate soaked inside the cup holder. the staff wasnt helpful at all. when i finally got the truck and hit the free way, inside the truck was so hot that the air conditioner couldnt cool he air. the heat from the engine heats up inside the truck because the part that covers the motor inside the truck was not properlly fitted.... oh, the of the staff was rude,

Forgot to fill up gas due to the fact that i unloaded uhaul truck at my location drop off. I have rented uhaul trucks and cars before and the personnel always gave me the option to go and fill up or let me know I would be charged this crazy charge of $44 for gas

I called at 11:30am on Tuesday to inform the desk that I would not be able to get the trailer emptied and returned by the time the location closed. The assistant told me that if I returned the trailer after hours, it would be OK and if I returned it by 7am, I wouldn't be charged for another day. I had the trailer there by 8pm and yet, I was charged for another day. I called and the desk assistant said the manager would call me back. I'm awaiting this call back.

Let me tell you about my Uhaul experience. The day before I reserved a closed trailer which would have cost me $35. I arrive at 8:30am the next day, they hook up the trailer, then tell me something is wrong with the fuse on my truck because the turn signals aren't connecting to the trailer. They tell me my truck won't work, so I go home, empty out the back of another truck, and arrive with a different truck. Same story, they tell me something is wrong with my truck and the turn signals won't connect. After about 30 minutes of trying to connect the trailer, they realize something is wrong the the trailer and not my truck. So I just spent 45 minutes going home, emptying out another truck for nothing. After realizing their trailers were the problem and not my truck, they tell me they'll get me another trailer. After hooking up another trailer, they have the same problem, the turn signals on the trailer won't connect with the truck. So now it's 11:00 am, I still don't have a trailer and we've made absolutely no progress. Then they tell me sorry, we don't have a trailer that works. At this point, I'm 2 hours late to deliver the goods I'm supposed to deliver. So instead of renting a trailer for $35, I was forced to rent a 17' truck for a total of $86. This was hands down the worst experience from Uhaul. Not only did they waste 3 hours of my time, I was forced to spend more money than I needed or wanted to. I went to Budget previously, and compared to Uhaul they are the most efficient truck rental company by a long shot. I would highly recommend avoiding Uhaul at all costs, Budget was great and I will tell everyone I know to use Budge instead of Uhaul. Thanks Uhaul for wasting my time and taking more money than I planned on spending. Budge > Uhaul, and it's not even close.

First of all the truck we received was one of the worst vehicles we've ever rented. Our pick up was scheduled for mid day which delayed our move. My husband drove the truck home and when I arrived he explained there was a foul order coming from the vehicle. Since this was the last truck in the type we ordered available I registered a complaint with their eight hundred number. The truck smelled like live stock had been transported and used the bathroom in it. IT stank something awful. We had a move commitment and had to meet keep it. The smell made our move unbearable. To rent a vehicle to anyone in this condition is disgraceful. I waited two days for a call back from management and called a second time after not receiving one. Still waiting to speak with them. The only excuse given by Assistant Mgr at the sight was that maybe the vehicle hadn't been sprayed before renting. Totally unacceptable. This sight will be eliminated from our list. Future rentals are in doubt! No score is low enough for this experience!!
