The manager of your company, a man named. Marlon or something rather was rude. As well as another women there. He took my drivers license and went around back with my boyfriend to hook trailer up. Long story short the trailer lights wouldn't work due to my truck. No problem. I left my ID there because I never got it back from that gentleman. I called and then they said nobody ever grab my ID that I lost it. I told him I was going to raise some hell because I know I gave it to that man. They ended up calling me back 20 minutes later saying they found it on the ground outside. Then saying I must've dropped it but inside the store I handed The Man my ID. I live in concord and had to drive back and I want compensation for my gas and time. Sergio on the other hand was amazing. He took the time to take care of my mom and I when we came to pick up my licenses. He got a trailer hooked up for us and all the lights worked. Turns out you manager if that store Marlon or whatever his name is just didn't give two sh*ts and let's us leave.

Have guaranteed vehicle available. Had to drive back home to obtain credit card even though had debit and so much cash. Reservation at noon didnt get truck til almost 2 and was told to bring back before closing at 6pm. They couldnt find the truck then the keys.


I rent from u haul about 2 -3 times a month due to my event business. We went over the allotted miles I originally stated and paid for.instead of billing the card again for the difference. They sent an email about I paid it. Then about 3 hours later they sent another bill saying that I will be charged an additional 30. I had been waiting on them to take the money out my account. Right when we got the truck back.

My experience with the staff at this location was great. You've hired really helpful people. My experience with U Haul in general was AWFUL. The website listed our preferred pick up address for the truck we were renting as one location, but it didn't tell us where the truck actually was. The app said another address. I called the night before and the woman I spoke with said the app location was the correct location to pick up the truck. In the morning, almost at the app location and on time, I opened the app to begin check in only to find that the app now listed the truck at different location a 30 minute drive away. Driving over in rush hour traffic, I called ahead. The person I spoke with said they did have the size truck we reserved but someone else had already reserved it for 2pm, even though we made our reservation a week before. After I pushed back they said we could have it for the hours we'd reserved (9am to 5pm). It was ridiculous and stressful and we got a much later start because getting all the way to the new location and back again added a good hour and half onto our morning, and an additional hour of driving when I returned it. Additionally I think someone was supposed to call me to tell me where the truck was going to be for pick up and no one ever did. What a horrible system. I'll be going out of my way to never use u haul again, and will warn others off.

I had to wait almost THREE hours in the sun, after having my reservation canceled by uhaul at the last moment twice, this place was able to help me. People walking around with out masks, employees super disgruntled walking in and out with out a mask. NO ACCOMMODATION of people with immune compromised who are not able to enter buildings without serious risk of contracting covid and dying, NO reason the entire operation could be done outside, but no one is willing to even try and help accommodate you. If I could give u haul negative 5 stars i would. You still owe me a $100 for canceling my reservation twice, and i have spent HOURS on the phone with you people. Treat your employees better!!! Can not express how SHITTY and horrendous your rental policy is, costed me THOUSANDS of dollars and DAYS of headaches!!! I will never use Uhaul again!!

Get the truck to renters on time. My start time was changed from7am to 11 am the day prior. They did a compensate for the change, although I had to ask for it. Nothing was offered when changing my rental from 12 hours to 8.

We originally scheduled a different pick-up-location. Our pick-up time was changed by more than 4 hours without any contact from UHaul. We were able to shift to a different location to maintain our pickup time, but then we had to pay an additional $30+ in mileage. We also reserved a hand trolly that was not in the truck, and one of the tires was almost flat. The workers at the location were nice and friendly, but overall, very disappointed in UHaul.

Checkout encountered a problem with mileage but that may have been an error at the Long Beach location. To the credit of the employee, I told him I had to leave for a flight and he figured it out without me.
