When we arrived to pick up, we had to wait more than 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Location is in a motel so they were cleaning rooms or something upstairs. It took forever to get through paperwork, and she was adamant that we purchased coverages that we did not need and I’ve already verified we did not need. She was very pushy and rude.The equipment was not ready. They were not even going to help us install the 6x12’ trailer to the 26 foot truck. She said it was our problem because she was there by herself. Eventually, she had a hotel worker come out and help set it up. The equipment is stored in a grassy muddy area so it’s very challenging and felt dangerous. She added a dolly at our request, only later she came back out to day she didn’t have the dolly. She sent us 2 miles down the road and as we were approaching, called to say that they didn’t have the equipment either. It was an excruciatingly long process to rent this U-Haul and it took almost an hour. We spent 30 minutes of our Movers time there -while we were paying them -hassling with her. The truck also did not have enough gas for our trip delaying us even more. We’ve rented a lot of U-Haul‘s for business and personal use and have never had this deplorable of an experience. I had called to rent at a closer location, ended up 20 minutes away from home.

Amos WThe trailer was clean and the pickup site was great. The trailer started brake checking me after about 300 miles. Very jerkey, and frustrating. Every bump it jerked on my truck. Needs adjustment.
LAWRENCE VWe went to a large U Haul location that had plenty of trucks. When we went to pick it up they sent us to a hotel to pick it up. Weird.
