Jeniffer CI drove the trailer approx 30 miles and the left tire blew out on a 6 lane interstate. After waiting on the side of I-85 for 4 hrs the tire repair company agreed that both tires were bad and needed to be replaced. This oversight, faulty equip, and dangerous conditions were 100% due to lack of inspection by U-Haul. Luckily I was not harmed, didn’t cause harm to others and there was no serious accident. I want a 100% refund as well as additional compensation for my time. Please make me an offer of what you all feel would be reasonable. If I was not a responsible driver and acted quickly this would’ve been a very dangerous situation for other drivers. I’m glad no one was injured or killed due to the oversight of U-Haul.
Scott GSociety Hill, Opelika location was great. “Uhaul” was abysmal. I had a reservation 10 days before I needed to rent. U-Haul had computer issues thus rerouted me an hr away to another states location. The service ctr in Auburn had trucks and trailers plenty; I stood in line for 30-40 mins until my wife found smaller trailer at Society Hill. I could have driven to Columbus, GA and been half way back.
Stephen JThe pricing was ridiculous. I paid $1,177 to drive 4 hours down the road, + gas ( another $100). The truck drove great, but the pricing is absurd and unreasonable.
