The lock for retrieving the key does not work as intended. We had to manually push the shackle (the curved metal part) out of the lock body, since the lever did not do that. It took us a lot of finagling before we figured that out. I was even on the phone with support before we figured out how to manually open the lock that way.

The lady was a little bit rude and tried very hard to pressure and guilt trip me into getting the truck insurance. I ultimately didn't get it. The truck steering wheel does drive the truck straight when it is turned straight. You have to slightly turn it left for it to drive straight which might be confusing to some customers.
ERIOLUWA EThere was a big issue with our reservation. The lady in this location gave our reserved truck to someone else, thinking the person is me! I called the location; she told me to wait by interrupting me and never answered my calls anymore. When contacted by U-Haul, she claimed that I was there when this person was picking up! I then went to the location yesterday, to pick up the truck (U-Haul resolved the issue) but the lady in this location was extremely rude and disrespectful. Worst U-Haul location ever!

Christoph GThe agent at the location was nonchallant and wasn’t really willing to work with us. Actually, she wasn’t even doing her job for that matter!! Luckily the manager came to our rescue (though he wasn’t physically present at the office, he was available over phone — hence the 3 stars instead of 1 star!!). The truck cabin itself was reeking of smoke smell. Also we kept getting messages about one of the tires being out of air (looks like a faulty tire pressure monitor). We had to travel a long distance (over 500 miles) and it drove us anxious and continuously kept us on the edge (especially with the truck fully loaded for the move)!!
