My overall UHaul experience was disappointing. I signed up for a truck and pads at one location, only to be told when I went to confirm, the truck was not available and to call to find out where to pick it up. In addition there were no pads per my contract and we had to call around to several locations that were out of our way to find pads. I am not sure I would rent from Uhaul again after this experience.Michael M.

I found this to be a very unpleasant experience. I am moving into a new home. I am working on a time constraint. I only have my brother to help me. My UHAUL truck rental went over a day. I rented on a Saturday. The business was closed on Easter Sunday. I called and left a message stating that I will return the truck on Monday. The store manager Crystal returned my call in a very brute under tone stating that I return the truck by 1:55pm or she would charge me for another day, then she said I already charged you for Sunday, she proceeded to explain that their are other reservations. I agreed to return the truck before or at 1:55pm Monday. When I returned the truck she was very unpleasant in her tone. I walked in the store and Crystal the store manager told me to place the keys in the drop box. She then begin to tell me that the truck needs to be â€œunusedâ€ for 30 minutes. I find this information to be very irrelevant as a paying customer. I felt so confused and uncomfortable. I did what she said, by dropping the key in the box. I went back in the store to ask her name and if she was the store manager. She stated that she is the store manager. I said okay and walked out the store. As I am leaving to get into my car, she comes out the store in a aggressive tone asking me if there is a problem. I then explained how unpleasant I felt during the entire transaction. She proceeded to go back in forth me. I simply answered her question. Crystal never thought of me or my feelings throughout the entire transaction. This will be my last time renting from the storage unit. I pray Crystal utilize guest skills when working under pressure.Myrina M.

Owings UHaul was excellent. The vehicle was clean and in good shape. The UHaul online reservation system was pretty poor, though. I was ready to go by 8:40am but had to wait til 9:00 am for the owner to open the shop due to the online system bugs. Then I found out that the online system had assigned me a van that didn't have a key available.Mark B.
Support person was unpleasant and rude (both at pickup and upon calling about bogus cleaning charge). Cleaning charge is bogus. The trailer was swept out and yet I was charged for "dirt down the side" (funny since what was moved were 300 lb wooden boxes 100% wrapped in black plastic before they were ever loaded so where exactly did that "dirt" come from) and "a dead bug". This was not the location I was told to arrive that on the day I rented the truck I had to drive another 10 minutes to a different facility then what they told me. I also reserved some furniture pads when I rented the truck online and when I arrived at the location there were no furniture pads. Although the customer service representative at the location was very pleasant and helpful and she deducted the cost of the furniture pads I feel like I should've been given some other kind of relief.Teresa W.

I used the mobile pickup service which seemed like it would be seamless. A couple days before my pickup date, I was prompted to upload a front and back image of my driver's license. When I got to the pickup location, not only did I have to upload the same pictures for a second time but also had to provide additional information to confirm my identity. I really think phone calls to my mother and sister could have been done previously, and should have been avoided at my time of pickup since I got the truck at 7am.Kristina T.

All the text message & email was very sketcy ! Had trouble confirming my reservation when picking up truck ! Was kinda put off by somebody calling me monday 2days after I returned on time at same location & asked me about location of truck ??? You have to do better than that !!Harold D.
