You need more customer service help on a Saturday morning. Walked in there and people waiting and nobody around. An employee just entering work finally helped out. I got there at 9:05 and didn't leave until about 9:20 and most of that was just waiting. All other service was fine.

I use Uhaul often for my job. Overall the staffing is light and some long waits at this location. Uhaul needs a lot of improvement in training counter staff in customer service. Teach them to be polite and respectful. But today was the kicker, I returned a vehcile on the 17th and was charged that evening on my Amex, Then Uhaul charged my credit card on the 20th, a charge of 375.14. After some time and transfer with Uhaul, I was told it was for authorization and I should contact Amex and ask them to release with an Auth code, Uhaul agent did apologize, and say that i did not owe this money. I asked her to send in an email and she sent me the same 50 something correct invoice and completely ignored my request confirming that the astronomical charge, 2 days after my contract ended was in fact an error and I am not responsible for that amount. I am extremely upset that your company can charge my card whenever it choses.

The employee that helped me to take the truck as well the employee that helped me when i when to the store to request copy of my bill, were extremely rude. The first employee did not take the take to explain the minimum information when I take the truck, he limited to answered the questions for me. The second time when I when to the store to ask about my refund all employees in the front desk did not let me talk. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE. SUSANA ASTROS

Poor management with regards to customer service. I seriously suggest you change manager and conduct assessment of customer service at this location and retrain the staff.

Every thing was fine except that the windshield was filthy on the inside. It was very distracting. The young man that looked over the vehicle at drop off agreed it was due to be cleaned. Other than that; there were no other complaints from check in to check out. The woman I spoke to on the phone when I was securing the truck, was very courteous as was the gentleman man that handled the rest of my business dealings.

I had quite a bit of trouble with the over the phone reservation. When I didn't receive an email to confirm the reservation, I called and as it turned out Cassandra who had taken my reservation had not processed it or even called me to say there was a problem, she also entered the incorrect email. I had to call 3 times before reservation was handled properly.

I reserved a truck at 711 brand ave in providence and when I got there for my reservation it was closed. I waited on hold for an hour and no one at uhaul answered. Then I went to the location 464 broad providence ri and was told there were no more trucks. Finally going to Pawtucket I got a truck that i was supposed to get 2 hours earlier in providence.

Customer service was excellent. Levi was engaging, upbeat, and spot on with every detail of our pick-up and contract. We reserved a van. We showed up on time. The van we reserved had been given to somebody else. Not his fault - but the company should compensate when a reservation is not honored. I suggest that U-Haul keeps their end of the bargain or rents at half the quoted rate.

Make sure you check how much fuel is ACTUALLY in the vehicle. I rented a 10ft box truck...the fuel gauge was below the 1/2 mark. They said to bring the vehicle back with the same amount that was initialy there....(this truck per the employer gets 12 miles to the gallon) ...so when i returned it with the SAME amount of fuel as was at the start...they told me that it was not filled up to the 1/2 mark and i was going to owe them! Simple math people...i only drove a total of 16 MILES!!! And i ended up putti ng in a total of 2.835 gallons of gas ( because i left to fill it AGAIN so they would not charge me the extra$$$!) so again...they can simply do the math to see exactly how much i used. They write down the mileage when you leave and when you come back. But it was MY fault, they said, for not going back in to tell them. Didnt realize it till i left! But simple math should have proved that i put back what i had used! Completely disreguarded my point! Awful awful awful....thats how thwy screw the consumer!!!!
