U-Haul changed our reservation at the last minute. We arrived at the new location only to be told that they did not have the equipment we had reserved. We were then sent to a third location, where we were told the truck might have a check-engine light on but that we should “ignore it.” The truck rode poorly throughout the entire trip and got extremely poor gas mileage. We had also hired movers to assist us with loading, but because of all the unnecessary running around and delays caused by U-Haul trying to locate the truck we had originally reserved, our movers were forced to sit and wait for approximately one hour. As a result, we were charged for an additional hour of their services that we did not need. This entire experience has cost us additional time, money, and unnecessary stress, all due to U-Haul’s poor planning, lack of communication, and unacceptable handling of our reservation. We are now having to spend additional time fighting with U-Haul to resolve costs that should never have been incurred in the first place. This level of service is completely unacceptable, and we expect U-Haul to take responsibility for the additional expenses and inconvenience their negligence caused us.

U-Haul corporate customer support is abysmal, but this pickup location was amazing. I spoke with Monte several times and he was kind and flexible with pickup arrangements because my flight in to the pickup location was delayed.

Malik TAlthough I selected my drop off site when I made my reservation, the app reported an error when I went to return it. I utilized the online chat and talked with Markus. The cite did not have a drop off location listed. He provided me with an available drop off location. Did contactless and never talked with anyone at the store.
