At pick up, we were told we had 50 miles. At drop off, the owner said we were only allowed 45 miles and charged us an overage fee. He wasn't very welcoming or willing to work with us. Mileage requirements are not realistic when we have to pick up the uhaul, drive it to the move out site, then drive it to the move in site, then get gas, and then drive it back to a uhaul location. Mileage should only be counted from move out site to move in site, in my opinion.

We dropped off our truck and tried to follow the directions on the website. We were unable to make the location part of the online return info work. It would not find the location. Also the location is really dark and hard to see. I'd encourage the location to improve the lighting and have some signage about how to return vehicles. I left key In the drop slot and truck In lot and hope all is good. It was frustrating since this was my first time renting and dropping off.

The advertising of 1999 rental is false leading. I will not be very likely to rent a u-haul for the day again. It would of been cheaper to go to enterprise and rent a pick up truck and we could of accomplished the same thing.

The towing trading lights did not work properly. They would not indicate braking, turn signals nor hazards. My son had to follow me the entire move for safety concerns. Other than that, everything was great. He explained how to use everything and helped me load my vehicle. We just didn't notice the light problem. Something to double check on all rentals before departing.
To do the self drop off same day was not possible with the app or online no WiFi at the location! I want the money back they owe me
I requested and paid for a dolly for my move and I did not receive it. The mobile checkin process was very long and complicated. It would have been faster to go inside to the front desk, but for health reasons I chose the mobile route which was not pleasant.
Have the owner be up to date on how the mobile app works so he can. Enter assist you when you call his number.
