Uhaul's reservation system is the worst. I requested to pick up near my home 2 times and each time was given a location inconvenient and far away. I even called the location I preferred, 'confirmed' that they had the unit I wanted and 'confirmed' that I could pick it up there, and it STILL ended up being transfered to a different pick-up location. No control.

I'm trying to understand how a $30 estimated reservation placed an $80 hold on my card. When I use the UHaul of Roxborough they charge the estimate as a hold that adjusts once the equipment is returned. What's worse is when I returned a CONFIRMED $30 reservation, I was told my funds would be immediately released as a credit/refund of what was charged. Nothing is even pending with my bank and it's not on their end--I did a refund at another location that posted instantly. In addition, the agreement I signed before swiping my card posted my estimate on the screen--so how was I charged nearly triple that? This location's business practices are questionable, next time I'll just stick with Roxborough and tack on the extra trip mileage because they certainly offer consistent customer service with honorable business practices.

The alignment on the truck was horrible! !!!!!!!!! It was difficult to drive. It is an accident waiting to happen. It doesn't need to be on the street until it gets an alignment.

The rep was awesome Shariff. But he was there only one rep there on a Sunday and I waited an hour while he had to check truck back in and issue them out l.... The line was out of the door and it was extremely frustrating.

Everything regarding the return of the truck was exemplary, however, the storage unit from this location is the exact opposite. I had a 5x15x8 selected on the reservation but I was presented with a 5x10x6. The clerk stated that the presented unit was the size I ordered. Two other larger units on the list of available ones also were significantly smaller than how they were listed. One of which was being used as storage for 100lb gas cylinders. I did eventually get a 10x10x6 but am extremely disappointed in the service and record-keeping of this location.

On 1/27/16, I called Uhaul and asked what will be held on my debit card. I was told $1 environmental fee, the cost of the truck $19.95, then at the time of pick up the cost of actual mileage used. On 30th, I picked up the Uhaul and $80 was held against my debit card, I have the phone call recorded.. I'm going to inquiry about a corporate complaint with the mp3 so that you can listen. Uhaul has poorly trained staff the repercussion, caused me to have to wait on funds that was needed now based on this phone conversations my understanding was right on point. Uhaul can't expect me to cancel a move when it is time to move it is just time to move. I needed the $35.22 I'm due instead I have to wait 3-5days Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, I can barely eat and don't have money to get on the bus to take my shower because my water is off at home right now. Don't you see how one employee error can cause an extremely angry customer!!! Please train your staff or I will do my own training with asking and repeatly asking if you can do your job right and or making sure I'm told all information , so that I have a successful customer experience.
