We were not told about gas or that phone app had to be used to return uhaul at location. Extra $30 was added for gas when we only drove 40 miles.

An excellent transaction. I needed a Uhaul for a couple hours for a short haul move, and nobody else was open, or had a truck. Kyle cam through in a pinch, and everything went as smoothly as it could have. I highly recommend this Uhaul location to anyone; the experience was top shelf from start to finish!

This negative review does not reflect on the ownership of the pickup site. Hines Storage was gone for the day, but was very responsive to my call regarding cancellation by Uhaul for picking it up 1.5 hours after scheduled. I would definitely work with them again. However, the online pickup experience was horrendous. I have never, in my 30 years of using Uhaul, had to wait until there was a secondary person that could be reached for assurance before I could take a truck or trailer. I was not prepared to provide a secondary assurance who could be reached during the middle of a week day. Besides, with the amount of business I have done with Uhaul, combined with being no spring chicken, it felt like a slap in the face. And, I had purchased the insurance!! I provided three numbers before someone could be reached, and they were pulled away from patient care procedures to answer the phone. Perhaps require a secondary assurance person (who will be avsilable at pickup time) be listed at the time the online reservation is made, being unsble to submit a reservation without one.
The owner Mr. HInes puts in the extra effort to accommodate me as a customer. This seems to be extremely rare with any business today. I would highly recommend his company to anyone in need of the services he provides.
The owner was wonderful! He got me the best truck he had, he was quick and efficient and cared that I had to wait a few minutes as a customer was ahead of me! Great customer service!
It was a last minute decision to rent the truck. I did the online check in on the way. The paperwork was ready for me to sign when I walked in. In and out in less than 5 min. Great customer service.

The equipment I rented, a 4 by 8 trailer, was perfect for moving my son's furniture and clothing to college. The trailer was in an "as new" condition. The service was friendly, helpful, and just excellent. I was permitted to return the trailer in the middle of the night and without any hassle. I would recommend this business to anyone.
