I needed a truck to tow my 24' Bayliner from Port Ewen, NY to Groton, CT. After loading the truck with my furniture, etc, the boat trailer was only about 8" from the ground. The truck was NOT overloaded, the hitch was too low, thus dangerous to tow over 150 miles. My wife drove my car back to Connecticut, the truck was loaded and I was unable to bring my boat to our new home which is the reason I rented the truck in the first place!!!
