My car is at the pick up location because it costs too much to drop off at same (pick up) location, so I got stranded for a day in the cheaper drop off city and had to stay at a motel mid-trip as a result. What you could do about that is have necessary info/pamphlets on hand to assist the truck renter.

APPARENTLY U-HAUL ATTEMPTED TO HAVE ME DROP OFF TRAILER TO COOS BAY, WHICH WOULD HAD BEEN 40 MILES OUT OF MY WAY, I WOULD NOT HAD RENTED IF I WOULD HAD HAD TO DROP OFF TRAILER THAT FAR AWAY. APPARENTLY THE LOCAL U-HAUL WAS ABLE TO RESOLVE THE DROP OFF WITHOUT ISSUE.

Barbara was super nice. Scottsburg is a tiny town, at least an hour round trip to the next U-haul location. I was thrilled we could get a truck there as it was only about 1/2 mile from my Moms property. Barbara made sure we could pick up the truck at her location (no last minute surprise of having to drive an extra hour to get a truck at another location) and made sure we had the equipment requested. Great communication too, she kept in touch with me and called when something didn't look right to her. Would use them again and would recommend them without hesitation.
These people at Snowy River Mercantile could not have been more helpful. I had issues with my vehicle and they went above and beyond to help me. Their customer service is top notch. As far as improvements needed, I didn't notice they needed improvements.
You cannot ask for more polite and better service anywhere. You simply cannot improve on this.
