This does not have to fo with Chuck's Towing but U-Haul. $.79 per mile is pretty excessive considering the current rate per mile is $.545.

Trucks in a snowy climate like Upstate NY should be better equipped with tires for snow. We could not back up the driveway when the truck was loaded as it had snowed the night before and the wheels just spun. Luckily we were able to drive up the driveway but unloading was a hassle as we had to walk down the ramp and around the truck and into the house.

Joe did an excellent job hooking up my car and explaining safety points such as checking the tie downs and the hitch even in snowy conditions.

Tow dolly rachet straps fill up with ice and road sand. Spent more time freeing them up then the actual tow job. Protect them.

I had a problem with my light hookup, the technician got me in early, fixed the lights, and hooked up the trailer for me. Excellent service, nice people to deal with.

One suggestion I could not locate the drop off box for the truck key so I had to leave it in the door mail box. A more visible drop off box would assist future customers.

The lady at the pick up site was very nice and helpful! Our pick up date was Sunday. We were supposed to do selfservice. But for some reason our cell phone couldn't complete the registration. So, she drove in, helped us with the documents, and showed us how to handle the UHaul truck very patiently.

so many little annoying glitches from the start and then to have realised the engine cover had not been latch and the middle seat was too HOT to utilize, comfortably... but a safe trip back to unload early and get truck gassed up and back to dealership.
