I reserved a 24 hour storage 3 days before, but when I went to get my storage unit none were available so I had to take one that was not 24 hours. Unfortunately, this location closes at 7 and I get off of work at 6pm every day. I was on a time crunch to move when I reserved my unit and now my job is that much harder.

Balance the wheels and run an alignment on the truck--the whole cab shook/rattled/vibrated excessively when driving.

Great service! However, I wish there was not an additional $20 fee for the installation of the car tow. I think that should be included to ensure everything is set up properly. I also wish U-Haul provided average gas use information. We ended up paying $ 350 in gas to drive from Richmond to Savannah. Had we known it would be that expensive, we probably would have chosen a different method.

Changed trailers without asking. The trailer was too big but had no choice. No apology - take it or leave it. And got charged for the larger trailer! Trailer beat up. Staff rude and uncaring

SO we had to pay an additional mileage fee because the location we picked originally did not have a vehicle available and the pickup location that was selected for us was 8 miles farther, not happy considering we called and chatted with customer service about this issue BEFORE WE PICKED THE TRUCK UP.

Maybe it would be helpful to let us know the gas milage per gallon. It would have been better to have the tank full then we top it off upon returning.

Get new employees that actually care about their jobs and the success of the company. Helpfulness is not their strong point and their attention to details like caveats and the most important bullet points of a contract are none existent. Furthermore, your "face of the company"--the ladies behind the desk--lack empathy and relish in caprice; they are delighted to simply allow the computer to tell them what to do rather than exercising simple concepts like logic, listening, mercy, and customer relations. They--specifically Shannon--would rather lose you a customer and all of his sphere of influence than to, at minimum, "see if there is anything that can be done to rectify on obviously unjust situation". She--and as "engaged" as her comrades were as well--could care less if I ever use your company again, which I shan't. Go ahead and thank Shannon, and maybe even placate and coddle her to salve her prideful constitution, for loosing a customer and possibly anyone within my sphere of influence whom agrees with my assessment of your organization. I am, respectfully, disgusted.

I was surprised to be charged for 4 miles over the mileage limit. The rep should be authorized to waive such a small variance. Also, I am concerned over how this mileage limit was originally calculated - we did not deviate from the stated route - Uhaul should review this calculation policy for reasonable fairness. Renters should be given an opportunity to review this calculation and be allowed some minor deviation (+/- 5%?!)

My check in seemed a little unofficial. I have rented from uhaul before but when I was walked around the truck the process was not explained to me at all. If I didn't already know to point out any additional damage I may have been charged for several areas of chipped paint

Saturday afternoon and many trucks being turned in - but only one guy checking us all in. He was efficient and very helpful by the time he got to me. The store may need to have more than one guy receiving returns on a Saturday afternoon.
