My lock on the back and of the truck got jammed and I unfortunately lost my dresser & a few bed pcs because it fell out the truck, I also had to ride on the highway with the back door open making ridiculous noises.

It was really unclear where I should return my truck. I sat in the parking lot for close to 15 minutes at the sign that referred to returns before someone talked to me. Otherwise it was a decent experience.

Give people their remaining money left on their storage unit.. If their in the positive when they rent a uhaul truck from the same place..I'm a customer who had to pay for another month which I only stayed for 4 days after I paid and then use your uhaul truck to move my things. I understand you have to run a business.. So I lost out on money I really didn't have and I'm a single mother of 3... So every dollar counts.. Thank you and enjoy your day

I drove from Richmond, Va to Orlando, FL, bugs were hitting the windshield like crazy, wasn't so bad during daylight driving but when it started getting dark, I attempted to use the windshield wipers with fluid, there was NONE. I had to pull-over, I literally could not see.

I was quoted one pick up location, but was changed at the last moment to the central Richmond location. It is inconvenient traveling the narrow streets out of the facility and traveling a half hour back home.

I dealt with the owner, Lance, and found him to rude, unhelpful, and condescending. He refused to offer me help with a scheduling issue and lied, stating there were "20-30 other people scheduled for pick-up at 8am." I called customer service, got my pick-up rescheduled to 8am. When I showed up at 8am the next day, there weren't even 3 people scheduled. He clearly was giving me some BS excuses to not have to deal with helping me. I picked up the truck, which ran great and worked perfectly. However, it had not been properly cleaned on the interior. Midway through my trip, I found extensive dog hair on the floor of the truck, and a plastic dog bone behind the driver's seat, and a couple food wrappers behind the passenger seat. I was wondering why I was sneezing incessantly during the trip. Fortunately, I cleaned out most of the dog hair for you guys since it stuck to the bottom of my duffel bag I had in the cab with me. If I had to spend about $2000 to move again, I would not do it with anything Lance is involved in.

The website was VERY misleading. Here I am requesting to rent a 20 ft truck for more than 24 hours (which by the way it gives you that option plus quote online) yet when I arrived for pick up I am being told that its a busy season/holiday, (which when I placed order online it did not mention), and that I could not get the truck size for the time I needed which would have been Friday - Sunday. I will fess up, I did not read the fine print but I did screenshot the important details (the mentioned issues) & I wound up having to downsize and make multiple trips, so I am not satisfied at all. Oh and by the way I was not greeted when I arrived (employee was busy fixing a previous customer's mess) was the reason she could not speak...I guess & same representative states that online has no way of knowing whether their location was busy or not BUT when I went back online (same day of pick up) the website did advise me it was busy for the date i needed (same date as my pick up) & it still quoted me a 2 day rental request (with having to choose a different date).

they understand that I was treated very poorly from the beginning of the rental in Brooklyn. he helped as much as he could and told me who to contact. sadly, I am still waiting to hear back.

My husband and I did the pick up online option. However, Uhaul didn’t give any instructions on where the vehicle could be parked (there are two parking locations) and the live verification took 10 minutes. I purchased the rental but listed my husband as the driver so we had to submit both of our drivers licenses plus pictures of ourselves after waiting long periods of time between questions from the live reviewer. I would suggest, to allow for efficiency, that you give the option to submit info on the account holder and the driver on the same page before submitting it to live review. It could’ve saved us a lot of time waiting out in the cold.
