Not put a hold on the credit card used for reservation when the customer pays in cash. It's been 3 days since I used the uhaul and paid my charges in cash, however the funds that were placed on hold won't be available for me to use for another 3 days.

I was overcharged for 100 miles that I did not use. We moved from 1505 W. Lee St. to 1313 Grayland Ave, both in Richmond, VA. The locations are less than 1mi apart and just around the corner from the UHaul rental location. We made a single trip. The milage out was 6788. mileage I wrote down when I turned in the vehicle was 6791 (3 miles). The mileage that I was billed for was 6891 (103 miles). I was the driver of the vehicle and turned in the vehicle. The UHaul clerk stated the correct mileage of 6791 while I was sitting in the vehicle during the final inspection. I did not notice the typo on the mileage when I paid the final bill and thought I was just incurring a few additional dollars of "fees". Only after I got home did I realize the mileage was incorrect. I should have only been charged for 3 miles of use under the original rate agreement. Can you help fix this error? Thanks. Jon Fox

The original location, Race Track Marketplace, did not have my truck when I got there at the designated time. This caused my movers to be delayed and created unnecessary stress for me on my move day. However the Lombardy location was phenomenal. Ten minutes and was pulling off in my truck. Check in was equally as quick and easy. I will never use another location.

Include mirror adjustment in customer/vehicle checklist before departure. Install dash remote control of vehicle mirrors. And...making checking for secure, tight battery cables before departure...it would not start the next morning...an enormous inconvenience and loss of time! Hardly made up for by the efficiency and politeness of Stryker Emergency. Rotate out aging U-Hauls or at least make certain some standard is maintained for interior cabin. A broken driver's side visor, for example, in my assigned U-Haul.

Okay, customer service check-in experience was average to below average per usual. Long wait and then lackluster personalities...although check-in didn't take as long as usual. Then I was also pleasantly surprised that the hook up of the trailer and turning it back in was very quick.

After I returned the vehicle, I was asked to demonstrate breaklights, front lights , turn signals. Why? None of these were checked at the beginning, so why was I asked to demonstrate their proper functioning at the end? This makes no sense: to hold me responsible for a malfunction that might have been there at the start.
