Me and my family got stuck in the elevator because no one explained how the system worked!?!….My unit had on lock on it with no key…. The people that work there were so rude when i tried to decide on a unit and lazy because no one wanted to show me the unit i would be getting or where it was. Leading to my complete and utter confusion on the elevator and putting me and my families live at risk in a dark Hot elevator that wasnt moving and stuck on 4th floor

U-Haul Execs-you have a truly amazing group of people working for you at the Lombardy Street location. they are professional, friendly, kind, and helpful. They make the customers feel like human beings. Please take note that this is your facility’s strong suit. There are other facilities that are easier to navigate, have better, climate control, etc. But I will always choose good service, pleasant, interactions, and genuine human contact. I am absolutely not alone in this and you would be wise to take note.I strongly urge you to treat your people well and do everything you can to hang onto them.

I was advised a climate control unit was available. It wasn’t until I completed the unloading that I was advised the temperature units were not operational and there was no estimated repair timeline available. The GM advised that UHaul did not offer discounts for the issues and that she would have someone call me. I called again after not getting a callback and was.told the same. It wasn’t until I came to remove my items from storage that the GM advised it would be approximately three weeks before the system would be repaired.

I moved away and have not been able to get back to deal with the contents of my Richmond home--until yesterday. Kylie is a lovely girl, extremely helpful and very pleasant. His assistance over the years gave this strange experience a personal touch and continuity that is difficult to describe adequately. I have been dealing with a huge mess trying to move my daughter, who is a college student. I had a difficult situation and I was incredibly impressed and appreciative of the kind, considerate and understanding service provided by your staff. They handled my complicated situation with compassion and professionalism. It was honestly the best service I have received anywhere in quite some time. In particular, a young lady named Kylie was just amazing! Your company is truly lucky to have such a personable, intelligent and professional employee. I was dealing with a series of mishaps that required truly personal service and I am delighted to say that I received it at the Lombardy Street location. With decent service at an all time low in virtually every sector of our economy, this was a wonderful experience. You have a great team and some exceptional people at this location! Hold on to them! They do your company much more good than any promotional advertising. I will be sharing my wonderful experience with everyone I know.
