Revisit pricing... offer promotions on price of vehicle for a day or two instead of price of vehicle AND mileage !

Truck was very low on fuel but they gave me a generous fuel credit. Loved seeing this location use air gun to clean out van before and after my rental.

The online check in process was aweful and when i asked if i could check in inside instead i was told i could not, even though there were two employees who were not busy. The truck i was given had a low tire and needed an oil change according to the trip computer on the dash. This leads me to believe regular maintainance is not occuring and makes me wonder about the reliablity of uhaul truck.

I was given wet furniture pads, that were outside the store in their storage shed. I did not know they were wet until I got to the location to use them. So I had to open the furniture pads in the green bag on the truck and pay an additional fee that I should be refunded for because of the inconvenience other than that a pretty good experience.

Easy drop off - handled very quickly and professionally.

Fuel level was not correct but checkout process did not allow me to confirm before I had to sign. Also auto check out system failed so I had to go inside.

Very professional and friendly personnel. Nicest Uhaul facility I have seen in some time.

I was sent email confirmation to pick my uhaul up at 11am 1716 Cary st. When I arrived no one was there and a note was left on the door to call and leave a message. I finally reached someone from uhaul help desk around 1130. At that point I was told they didn’t no why I was sent that email but I was at the wrong location. At that point I had to drive to the other side of the city to pick up a uhaul. I didn’t end up in a uhaul till about 12:05 leaving my movers outside till 12:30. Due to this incident I ended up adding an extra hour to our moving time/fee as well as additional miles. I’ve used uhaul for years and this experience left much to be desired.

I picked up vehicle with 1/4 tank of gas, put $55 of gas in vehicle and returned it with 1/2 of tank of gas. Asked if I would receive credit for additional gas was told thats a gift to the corporation. Seems like a funny way to run a rental operation. They said it was to difficult to have all vehicles fully gassed to prevent these types of situations....

The counterperson checking me in was very professional and thorough, despite my being 45 minutes late for my appointment and arriving so close to close-of-business. The person in charge of hooking up the trailer, verifying my vehicle, and checking the equipment & lights was similarly professional and courteous. Best Uhaul depot in the Richmond area! :)

Your estimate for my total was way off. I understand how estimates work and I was prepared for a difference but my estimated total was 101 dollars and when I showed up to turn it in they wanted to charge me 147! I went over the miles I estimated by a mere 4 miles and was more than happy to pay the charge for this. The fuel level was barely under what it was when I picked it up but the young man checking it in wouldn't budge. I did not appreciate it considering I put the fuel in to get it as close as I could and I believed it to be good. But I can understand policy so I was willing to pay for the fuel charge as well. The main difference in the my estimate and the final total was that the estimate did not factor in the 29 dollars for the equipment charge! How in the world would you consider this an estimate for a rental when the rental total is not reflected! I usually use Budget for rentals when I move but I decided to give Uhaul a chance. I will not be using your company again.

Fine as is. A user cannot make an eastbound left turn off of Broad Street onto Lombardy, requiring a U-Turn at the next traffic signal.

After a long all day move, we were happy to drive right up and drop off the truck. No waiting and fast easy return!

I rented the van for a 4 hour period, metioned to the sale clerk that i wanted to return the van but pay cash versus have it charged to my card. The clerk told me juatnto bring the truck back at 8 pm and tell them and i could pay cash. When i returned at 7:30 pm the store had closed at 7 pm. Both workers were there but spoke to me amd told me they were closed and that i would have to either drop the van off now in the drop box or keep the van until 7 am and pay cash then. The point is that had the clerk told me that if i wanted to pay cash to ensure i make it back to the location before 7 pm i would have done so. She only told me that i needed to return the van by 8pm. The point is, communication goes a long way. Not only did my card get charged at 7am, but they charged it twice!

Make sure the trucks receive a proper front-end alignment every 15k-20k miles for optimum fuel economy and maximum tire life with the tires set at the proper pressures.

There was quite the mix up concerning my 8x8x8 unit reservation, and I had to settle for a smaller unit, at a higher price (The smaller unit has climate control). The manager was considerate to my problems, and compensated me for the inconvenience.

Think the pricing need to be changed to flat rates at least when driving local. 94 dollars was a bit pricey for mileage in city limits.

Engine light was on in the truck. Comp showed 0% oil life left. This was the nastiest truck I have ever rented. It smelled like rotten fish. I came back the second day to rent another truck and GOT THE SAME ONE AGAIN. The person inspecting the truck said it had sat with the door open for 2 days and they had soaked it with Fabulouso. This truck should be taken out of service and disinfected. To top it off, when I returned the truck I was told I had to clean it out or face a $25 cleaning fee. I was so pissed, but bit my tongue and swept the couple of leaves out.
