Only way to even tell it's a U-Haul place is the presence of a couple of trucks. I parked the truck, went in, there's a convenience store clerk on the phone with a friend, he pauses his conversation (but is still on the phone) so I can say I'm dropping off a truck, I give him the key, he says nothing more, I say, "So is that all you need?" He says "That's it." And I leave. Turns out that wasn't it. When I got no email confirmation, I called U-Haul the next morning, and they called this drop-off location. Apparently the clerk assumed I had used the app for drop-off, but I didn't (I had never suggested I would, and they were open), so my truck wasn't actually checked in at all. U-Haul got it resolved quickly and everything is fine, but drop-off wasn't great for those reasons. Next time I'll drop off at an actual U-Haul location.

Manager/worker didn’t seem to have any prior knowledge or record of reservation. Had to provide info all over again, including trying to include insurance even though had explicitly selected no. Recommend having manager/uhaul rep on site around time of reservation to assist.
