The pickup location was fine; however, based on my recent experience, I would not recommend U-Haul. When the vehicle broke down in West Virginia during extreme heat, U-Haul required me to use the mobile app before providing assistance, despite the area having poor cellular service. Once a replacement vehicle was provided, I was denied additional assistance with transferring my belongings between vehicles. To make matters worse, I was later charged for additional mileage and fuel, even though I returned the replacement vehicle with more fuel than it had when I received it. Finally, there was no follow-up from U-Haul after the breakdown to check on the situation or ensure the issue had been resolved. Overall, the lack of customer support during a stressful roadside breakdown and the additional charges left me very dissatisfied with the experience.

I was overcharged! I took pictures of the gas when I picked up the truck and returned it with the exact amount of gas and was still charged $23.00 for gas, so what should’ve cost me like 190 ended up costing me 240, still trying to figure out what else I was charged for. I did dispute but have heard nothing!!
Diane DRons was excellent! Very helpful and thankful they are close by.
BRYAN WBusiness was closed, no one to tell me where to put the trailer or help with unhooking it. When I picked the trailer up I was given a bad address to return it to and because of that I had to locate somewhere else. Return was about two hours late because of this, I called UHaul, four or five times, to explain this to someone and they assured me that there wasn’t any problem and that they were sorry about the address mistake. Then the next day I received an email invoice telling me that I had been changed for an additional day, a little less than thirty dollars. I really feel like that was unfair considering that I was given a bad address to return the trailer to.
