Gentleman that rented the vehicle seemed very nice, however, service and equipment was subpar. Communication was spotty, we were given an update by text message from a personal phone, even though we had already contacted U-Haul customer service that provided us totally different information than we are now receiving from U-Haul. Totally dissatisfied.
Clean and drop off was very accommodating
The staff was helpful. The truck I rented had loose steering on the freeway. I'm a truck driver, so it wasn't a big deal, but this might make someone else nervous.
My Trip Was Awesome Customers Service's Was Great
This location charge me for insurance without my authorization. He did not ask me or tell me he was putting a $25.00 charge on my card until I asked him why my total $63.20 after he swiped my card. I rented a van on 09/09/2020 @ 2:00 and returned it on 09/10/2020 @ 12:30 from 14150 S. Indiana. The truck rental is $19.99 and my mileage I used was 25 miles at .69 a mile. I was told that they don't accept my personal insurance which I have full coverage with progressive. I have rented a trailer and Van's before from 71st off Stoney Island and never had any problems. I will never rent anything from that location and I will tell friends and family not to rent from that location. I filed a claim with customer service to have my $25.00 return. If I don't get satisfaction from customer service and my money isn't returned to my card my next step will be to notify BBB for deceptive practices at this location. My contract number is 99228479

I had a reservation and it wasn't open when I called corporate then a guy can I out of the back door and gave me a key
I rented a 10' truck from this location for $ 19.95 @ 0.99 per mile. I only drove approx. 12 miles locally . My estimate bill was 40.75 and the final bill totaled 83.00 . They charged me 62.00 @ 0.99 per mile ! One of the the employees stated that the vehicle has GPS tracking , with that in mind they should know I didn't travel 63 miles. I suspect someone tampered with the odometer in this vehicle. This location should be investigated. My personal opinion !

They listened to my situation with my uhaul pickup and the operators and they were willing to assist me in any way possible. They even offered more time with the truck to unpack since my travels were delayed due to corporate's inconsistency and misinformation.
Service was very slow. Credit card machine did not work. Took me an hour to get a vehicle. They had to make copies of my license and credit card which us very scary.
Have more dollies available.
