I ordered furniture pads, but when I picked up the truck, no pads could be found except a pile outside, wet and covered in snow/ice. Picking up the truck took more than an hour because of online issues. I had to go to each truck on the lot looking for the assigned truck. Finally, the cashier simply told me to take any truck the size I ordered. It was a very bad experience trying to open each truck hatch in the ice and snow.

FREDERICK SDidn’t have a dolly available was not very helpful. Had to wait over 45 minutes to even get the trailer would never rent from them again.
ROBERT JI reserved a 26 foot rental truck and toy hauler. I was quoted $1,505 for the truck rental. Upon picking up the rental truck, the reservation showed a cost of $2,200. It took over 1.5 hours of my time at the pick up location to correct this error. Secondly, when returning the truck and toy hauler to the drop off location printed on my rental agreement, we were told that they could NOT accommodate a 26 foot truck nor the toy hauler. We were then given a second location in South Carolina for the truck and toy hauler return. After driving another 30 minutes to this second location, we were, once again, told that his second location could NOT accommodate neither a 26 foot truck nor the toy hauler. We were then told to drive to a THIRD location!!! By the time we arrived at the third location, the facility was closed. We tried to open the return link that Uhaul provided for us, and we received the message that the link was NOT working. Due to all the extra driving, we had to stop at a second gas station to put more fuel in the gas tank. We did finally leave the trucks (my husband had the same experience with the 26 foot truck that he rented Robert Brown) and the toy hauler at this third location. An employee who was simply moving vehicles around, after hours, said we should put the keys in the drop box and that he would check in the two 26 foot trucks and the toy hauler. I believe he did and that is the ONLY reason I received a confirmation return receipt today. This entire experience was SO needlessly frustrating and we have another truck and two trailers reserved with Uhaul from Illinois to South Carolina, that I am serious considering CANCELING.
