Easy to find. Received a phone call the day before that the pick up location had changed to this location. Not a problem. Phone caller was courteous and personal and wanted to make sure I was pleased with the notice.

It took several attempts to find a trailer with working lights. We found one that had most lights but couldnt drive it in the dark, no running lights.

Gentleman who assisted us was very personable and helpful. This location also located in Rochester, MN confirmed that our truck met all guidelines and they would have rented to us. (We will work with them for any future needs. We only contacted the Civic Center Dr location because they had a larger inventory.)

Truck was not checked in and ready to be picked up. Employee did not know how to work program or type correctly. 2nd staff member arrived later to help. First man then went to check in truck, he swept out, but when I got to my pickup truck still had broken glass, was dirty and had horrible internal smell. I was picking up furniture from a staging company to take to a family with a child with a heart illness and oxygen levels of 80. I frebreze the inside of truck with 4 cans of spray. And still with closing up, items were damaged by smell. I spent $61 and a extra day rent on truck to dispose of what I could not give to this family in need. Plus the extra gas and miles going to store and dumping site and parking overnight. This was a donation to a family in need, which they need more assistance, but having extra expenses incurred limited what they received in real worth goods and the cost of money for me.

I went to a UHaul close to my old home, for a reason, when I was contacted by traffic the location was miles away. VERY disappointing. Also did you know you are way more expensive than Budget? I attempted to get a truck through another dealer, but they were all rented..

The 24 hour drop off was a little difficult. Drop off area is a little sloped so difficult to drop off. Overall a good experience. I could not reserve one at my regular dealer I go through but Safeway storage called the next day and told me they would have one ready for me and they did. Thanks !!

The truck was there on time, but it had not been cleaned, and the pads from the last renter were still in the truck. So I had to wait for that. However, that wasn't a big deal to me. But, I saw an error on the paperwork saying that I was scheduled to return the truck on Aug 25 at 8:00am. I had scheduled to return it that afternoon, knowing that my unloaders were scheduled to start on the 25th at 9:00am. When I told the employee helping me with the pick up paperwork, he said, "You need to work that out with the Uhaul place where you're returning it. Next time, you should give yourself an extra day or two." So I called the Uhaul location where I was returning the truck before I even drove the truck off the lot. On the phone I was told that I could return the truck on the following day, Aug 26. They said they would charge me $40 for an extra day. I wasn't happy about being charged extra, but I really didn't have a choice. They emailed new paperwork to me with Aug 26 as the return date. Uhaul could improve by training employees to help customers when things like this happen. There was no one else in the store when I picked up the truck, so I have a sense that the employee just wanted me out of his hair and didn't want to help me resolve the return date error. Also, if Uhaul makes an error, don't charge the customer an extra $40 to resolve the issue.

It is a very small parking lot and has very little lighting. I only dropped off a trailer and a truck after hours, but I felt a little unsure about where to put equipment and if it was safe to leave it due to the lack of signage telling me where in the lot to park.

The U-haul associate, Jerico Hewitt, quickly wrote up our order and got us hooked up. He made sure the equipment was in good working order and gave us good instructions. He also quickly unhooked when we returned and got us on our way. I can't think of anything he could have done to improve or trailer rental experience.
