I had the truck rented for a grand total of 15 minutes and two miles before returning it because the door of the box was too low for what I needed it for. The representative refused to even grant a discount, let alone a discount. If that is how your company approaches its customers, then there's other moving van companies in town.

Brent and his Sunset U-haul Rentals' customer service skills are severely lacking. This is the second time we rented a trailer for 3 days. This time again 3 days, along with a utility dolly and 27 boxes. We walked out the door, our hands full of boxes and forgot the dolly. Brent was of no help carrying items, nor reminding us of the dolly. At the time of return, he stated it would be no problem, he'll take care of the credit. On December 13, 2020, I was charged the full amount. I just spoke to Brent this morning and he now says â€˜it's a done deal. There is no credit.' He flat out lied to me. It's only $21, but that's not the point. When people are moving, they have a lot going on and a rental place like U-haul ought to be a little more helpful. We got down the road a bit, and the hook up chain to the truck was not attached correctly. We need to do a couple more moves and will not be using this u-haul again. I had my reservations the first time we used Sunset U-haul Rentals and will now ensure that all my friends and media know what a jerk this guy is and will never his use u-haul again.
I was charged an additional fee and have signed receipts to prove it will be final lawsuit if this isn't resolved immediately

I feel like the Uhaul Advertising of a truck for $19.99 is a bate and switch. The $19.99 truck cost us a total of $80+ dollars. They made us fill the tank which cost $20.01. (We got into the truck at pick up with 3/4 of tank of gas). Then you charge us an estimated $29.50 for 50 miles....we maybe did 34 miles total. Very disappointed in Uhaul. I have used this company over the last 30 years, anytime I have moved myself.
My Right trailer tire delaminated 34 miles west of Green River. Spotty cell coverage. Kind of terrifying. Better tire monitoring/maintenance would be an improvement.
The merchant seemed annoyed with me not having a reservation slapped the paper around the desk voice was draggy.
I'm very angry after getting our return receipt today. We were charged $15 for a cleaning fee because they had to fold the 4 blankets we used? Wow, absolutely ridiculous! We figured that they would launder them for the next customer. Also, apparently the rental was $5.00/per day & not $5.00 for rental of 6 blankets. The sign clearly doesn't say that & it should as well as communicating that the blanket rental was per day. Thank God I took pictures of the entire outside of the trailer or they may have tried to charge us for the existing damage. This is not the only U-haul location in St George! Do not use this one! Choose another location! Not only did we have the above issues but the owner Brent is kind a jerk & really doesn't care about good customer service.
Person who rented us the trailer did the minimum to assist us. I could list all the ways he was unhelpful but I don't think it's necessary. This is also not an isolated incident. The person who returned the trailer said they rented from him in the past and he was also very unhelpful. He treated us like he was doing us a favor by renting us the trailer. Budget is across the street and we will go there next time.
The seatbelts were stuck under the seats. We had to leave the facility without getting them fixed. It took us 20 minutes the next day in the light to figure out how to get them out from under the seats. Also, we had to add oil because the light came on. So that was an extra charge we should not have had to pay.
Out of the way. Lot small and the attendant told me to back down a small driveway and drop the trailer. As I backed up an employee walked by and instead if helping unhook, just said â€œunhook it your good to go.â€ Could have given a helping hand. Lot is very small.

I had to drive from Las Vegas to pick this up. I missed my movers because of that so I stayed up all night to load the truck. Then they charged me extra miles. Bad experience.
I didn't need the hand-truck or blankets, so it was a real pain to haul them around in the truck. They reduced the space available for my stuff, and at the end of loading the truck, they were in the way. I very much would have liked to leave these unwanted items behind. When I rent a truck, I'd like to have access to all of its capacity.
