Communication was extremely poor from U Haul. I told the representative that we would not be picking up the tow dolly until the afternoon, but when we arrived at the location to pick it up, the business was closed. We were never told they closed at noon. The owner was there and did let us in and completed the rental, but was very annoyed with us for not coming before noontime when he closes, and it was also very hard to find a place to park because his whole yard was full of unused vehicles that had not been plowed or moved all winter. He told us the U Haul website had been down all day and he would not be able to rent to us if he could not connect. Fortunately, he was able to get on soon after we got there, and we were able to pick up the dolly. It was a very unpleasant experience.

It wasn't entirely clear where to park the truck - challenging when you are driving the vehicle into the lot with a lot of snow.
KRISTA LBe nice and understanding that not everyone knows exactly what to do. I arrived just before closing and they were rude. I dropped it off just before closing the older gentlemen. Just walked away inside closed the door so I put the keys in the box cause I had no instructions from either one of what to do. I know I arrived right before closing but their was no need to treat me like shit and add to a already stress time. Saying I didn't return the truck til this morning is bullshit
LORI CI did not receive either of the two dolly’s I ordered (and have thus far paid for). Hoping to receive my requested refund for that, but otherwise a clean truck and easy pickup
Alejandra GU-Haul never called 24hrs in advance of pick up to tell me of location change due to equip avail. I called them day before and was told no equip had arrived at my contracted location and that I needed to drive 79 miles to st.johnsbury, VT to pick up. That's a 1:30 hour drive in VT. Location in SJB is a filthy car repair shop. Muddy truck interior. I could have overlooked all of this if it weren't for the incredibly rude regional office people lead by a person named Dillon. He was rude, unhelpful, dismissive of my predicament and cause for me never wanting to do biz w/ U Haul again. Just rented another truck through Budget for my daughter's move.
