Everything was great until I went to return the truck-the area where I was siuppose to leave the truck is too far away from the transmitter to use the app to do the return Took me 2calls to customer service-the first call I was hung up on by extremely rude CUSTOMER SERVICE person-which makes me wonder why that human is in customer service-but I digress- In the end -I was the one to figure out the transmitter was too far away-and I had to unpack the truck-drive it to the lock box-take the picks of the truck for the app-then return the truck to its parking spot-this all took nearly 45min AFTER I had loaded and unloaded the truck-I was not in the mood for this much hassle and I will never recommend this location I should have been reimbursed for my nearly hour worth of work I had to do for the U-Haul corporation Sometimes tech isn't easier when the owner of that tech doesn't set up their system correctly I'm positive you will have this complaint again and again from this location Warning the customer would have been really awesome and could have turned this into a great experience

Overall, the rental location looked like an agglomeration of various equipment. Seasonal from my understanding. This location is used for multiple businesses from landscaping to road maintenance, etc., and it was indicative of that. The lot needs to be maintained and presentable, but it was not. Lot was rough, equipment was stored wherever there was a vacant spot. Not well-organized for my taste.
Daniel SWhen driving U-Haul off the location we noticed there was carmax and some papers and hair ties left in vehicle from last customer. Also no one informed me and I overlooked the fact we only rented the vehicle with a 57 mile mileage range from a location that was 41 miles away from where our drop off location was. No one mentioned this and originally we had picked somewhere closer but U-Haul changed it and emailed us and I didn’t realize we only had 57 miles or we would be billed a dollar a mile. We ended up going over by 87 miles and had to pay an additional $87 on top of the$133 I spent to rent for $24 hours. Prices are too high and things aren’t clearly stated on the on line rental and pickup location personnel were not helpful and vehicle was not clean. The building for pick up was messy and gross and the guy who rented it to us got locked out of his account with U-Haul and had to call the main number for help making pick-up take forever yet I can’t charge $1 a min for my wasted time.
