The truck was dirty inside the cargo area and they didn’t have the reserved equipment appliance dolly! They gave me some lame excuse and I can go look for it myself. Really good customer service not.

william vI booked my U‑Haul nearly two months in advance, including my preferred pickup and drop‑off locations. When the pickup day arrived, I went to the location I had selected, only to find there was no truck available. After calling the area manager, I was told the pickup location had been changed — and that no communication had been sent to inform me. The representative assured me that, due to the inconvenience, I would receive a free size upgrade. When I arrived at the new location, the app attempted to force me to choose a drop‑off address in the same city, and I had trouble reaching support again. I eventually got through using a different phone, and the representative helped me access the keys since the pickup site (S & R Boat and RV) was closed. However, the truck provided was the same size I originally booked — no upgrade. The moving pads and dollies I had reserved were also missing, and the windshield had not been cleaned from the previous rental. I was additionally told I would receive some credit due to the inconvenience and stress caused by the reservation issues, but no credit was ever applied. While I appreciate the assistance I did receive over the phone, the lack of communication, missing equipment, and unfulfilled promises made the experience far more stressful than it should have been.
