The miles out read 65044.8. The paperwork said 65041 miles. I pointed this out during inspection, but was still charged for those 4 miles.

While convenient to my needs, there was no one there when I arrived, and I had to call someone and wait for them to come unlock. The location in downtown SanDiego is sketchy, so I felt a bit unsafe after being dropped off by myself.

I had the worst experience of my life. I rented a car trailer it started making weird noises after I loaded it up with my vehicle. Something Told Me Not to get on the freeway so I took the streets and then the brakes locked up. I called for roadside assistance they came out and took the tire off and all of the brake components fell out. I check the brake fluid level and it was dry and I notice there was grease on my car from the brakes. I asked to have a new trailer brought out to me but they could not or just would not do it. Mind you I have a classic car I just restored on this trailer. I was told I had to drive it to another location without brakes to trade it in. I wasted a lot of time and was very stressed and upset about the whole situation. The only good thing is when I got to the new location the employees at that location we're very helpful.

Ensure that the miles requested are added to the account and also have all requested items ready for the appropriate use. I was charged twice due to clerk error and has been four days without reimbursement. An extremely horrible experience prior to our move. Would NOT recommend this location to anyone do they don't go through the same experience as me. Call me I want to speak to an upper management person. 951-692-1771

When I arrived to pick up the 20 foot truck I was told they did not have one. I reserved a week before and actually called to ask why I was unable to pick it up at my original location and no said anything about not having it. I was offered a small trailer which was unsatisfactory. Communications is key and U-Haul has none.

Mt Alvarado did not check the truck to see if there was damage. Also stated the gas was over half tank and it clearly was not. Horrible customer service. I will not be back.

Lets talk about poor customer service… I ordered a truck to take my stuff from San Diego to Phoenix. The first truck that was given to me the transmission went out 10 minutes and the driving. I called U-Haul roadside assistance and they offered to have a service person come out and look at the truck. Which they did, and they deemed it unfit to drive. Leaving me to completely unpack the Truck. Next a tow truck came to take away the broken U-Haul, and I had to go to another U-Haul and get a new U-Haul. Then completely re-load the U-Haul. What should have been a half-day project turned into a full day nightmare. And then upon arriving in Phoenix , The movers that I paid for decided not to show up. Leaving me alone to unload a 15 foot Uhaul. I what's told by U-Haul but I couldn't start a claim until the truck was returned. I returned the truck this morning (8/19) and call customer service st and call customer service back Emma started a claim his ticket that would be resolved in three business days. I will never use any of their services again because everything that I pay for has not work in the customer service has been abysmal.

Back door was getting stuck if we open it all the way up...than had to struggle to open it....very annoying, this is a problem they knew about and still gave us this truck.

I was not notified ahead of time informing me this would be my pick-up location and waited 20min in line at my requested location to be told they did not have my reservation.This location was not the one I requested and was considerably out of the way and did not open until 9am- the same time my movers were schedule to arrive. The inside smelled like dog urine, and there was a large dog roaming around.

Trailer was hooked up wrong and I had no running lights on the trailer in the middle of the mountains. The employee that checked me in stated how dangerous that was and so did the cop that pulled me over.

I had a 8:00 AM reservation at a different location so the clerk reserved this truck for me. Since I had Moving Help waiting to pack the truck I need another one quick. They reserved this truck and sent me to the location but didn't tell me that it didn't open for another hour. I called customer service and she hung up on me. Once I was picking up the truck the clerk refused to look up and couldn't find my order your corporate office called. What a mess. Next time I will go back to Penske to rent a truck.

Call people back when you say you will. Give a legitimate and logical explanation for one of the most ludicrous corporate policies I've ever seen--folding the furniture mats or face a $25 fine each. If somebody can explain why you need to do this, as you likely get completely inconsistent folds from customers, and you also need to unfold and wash them in some manner between customers anyway, I would really appreciate it. To me it seems like $25 scam.

This was not the location that I requested. I made my request almost two weeks in advance. I never got a confirmation until less than 24 hours before my pick up time. When i called they said they didn't have the truck I requested earlier. I had to call UHaul to make the change. When i spoke to customer service they said my original location didn't accommodate different drop off. That is UHaul's problem with their website. It should not be an option to choose then. The customer service agent moved my time to what I needed, but couldn't accommodate the truck I requested so I had to take a larger truck. Also didn't receive my confirmation until the morning of the move at 5 am. Very disappointed with the whole booking experience.
