The person in the shop was friendly, professional, and helpful. However, the vehicle itself was less than ideal. First, the lock on the lift-gate was stuck and only opened after muscling it. Second, the bed of the loading space had not been swept so it contained remnants of previous moves. Third, after loading goods into the truck, it turned out that the latch had gotten caught at the top of the truck and would not come down without significant forcing by two men (it was evident this had happened before as the top where the latch caught was torn from previous times that this had happened). Finally, you should change your policy for returning vehicles. While I was able to back my 15-foot vehicle into a tight space, I had to do so with one mirror since the space was too small to have both mirrors deployed outward. Clearance was a matter of inches. The policy should be for customers to return vehicles to open, pull-forward slots, and U-Haul workers can move them back into position for subsequent rentals.

The reservation system was very screwed up and sent me to this location. My reservation was for 5:00 P.M at the Dublin location (I thought) but somehow I got sent to this location. Unfortunately, it closes at 5:00 so there was no way I could get there on time. The Dublin store did not offer to call this location and this location did not call be when obviously I had a reservation scheduled. Bad situation.

The service was extraordinary. I came in late on Sunday afternoon and woman in charge of the office was fantastic. She went the extra mile to help me. Seriously, great work. This is what would make me never think of another company when I went to rent a vehicle.

Center needs to open earlier on a Saturday. 9:30 is too late, and with 3-5 customers in line, getting your truck at 10:30 is pretty late for move day.

Uhaul was great - super easy to get in and out with minimum paperwork. As far as the truck, the gas cap light came on immediately after I picked up the truck and I closed it. But then the check engine light came on of course. But then it went off - thank heavens. The tow light came on every time I started the truck but I just turned it off. Other than that the truck was great and so glad I rented the blankets!

I called the 800 number to reserve a cargo van and everything was good, I also registered online to save time at pickup. I arrived 5 minutes before to be on time. Upon my arrival there was a sign that stated that the person would be back by Noon, I had to wait until 12:23pm for the representative to open the door. So much for registering online to save time. I did not even get an apology from the salesperson. The only satisfaction is U Hauls Pricing.

I rented a van to move a bunch of party stuff From one city to the other. When I picked up the Van I thought I smelled animals. I then picked up my son to take with me to help me move all of my items and load my Van. When I was finished delivering my goods to the home I had to take my son home to take allergy pills and a shower. We have both been miserable and drippy noses for 2 days because I believe there was animals in the Van. We are allergic to animals. Even if soneone had their dog with them that is a problem for us. All in all not happy with the cleanliness of the van.

This location in particular was fine but the truck was pretty gross and the website check-in / check-out process is terrible. That is my number one complaint. Numerous times the page would crash and log me out and force me to restart the process.. poor programming. Also, I somehow managed to accrue 89 miles according to my checkout whilst only having driven a maximum of 50 and MAYBE 60 but definitely not almost 90 miles. This is an issue I contacted support about after check-out (which apparently wasn’t even necessary according to a telephone support staff person). It may have been my error in entering the mileage but I’m rather certain I just typed in the numbers I saw on the dashboard area (the pictures should rectify this situation). Aside from the cab having some sticky residue all about the vehicle operated properly and served its purpose. Kind of disappointed in the total cost for a ~45 mile $ 2 hour round trip being $160. Oh well - I’ll just have a junk company remove mattresses in the future.

The location had no knowledge of my reservation even though I had a copy of the confirmation on my phone. They tried calling the traffic office that manages reservations and equipment, and apparently they had to call the same number a consumer would call. They were on hold over 30 minutes. When they were connected with someone, that person said they needed a different extension and put them on hold AGAIN. Finally, the only equipment they could arrange for me was for a round trip. I reserved a one-way over 200 miles away. I was one hour late and my paid helpers were just sitting an extra hour waiting. Though they put on the paperwork that it had 1/4 tank of gas, it was very nearly empty. I told the person helping me at the office before I left and she said she'll note it and just return it that way. They said they needed it back on Sunday at 5pm. I managed to get it back by 4:30 but they were closed at 4 on Sunday. So the next day they billed me an extra $58 because it was less than 1/4 full. I went back to the office the next day to get the charge removed. This was a whole lot of hassle that could have been avoided.

We booked our uhaul in Concord CA on Monument Boulevard, when we went there to pick it up, they told me they had moved my rental pick up to the San Ramon store. I had reviewed my emails after being told there was nothing they can do, and I was email a day previously stating my pickup was in San Ramon California I never got a call I am booked this rental a week before and I was charged for the extra 30 miles that I had to go out of my way to pick up the U-Haul.

Hi, I booked the uhaul truck to carry my forklift into my new office. There was only 1 item that was loaded and unloaded. However, $25 cleaning service fee was charged which I though there is a misunderstanding or mistakenly happened. This is not acceptable. Please accept and assess my feedback in customer satisfaction manner and refund $25 back. Your soonest response will greatly appreciated. Thanks

Personnel was unprofessional. They informed me the day of my pickup that they did not have the size truck I reserved a week prior. I left work early to get there before they closed at 6 I arrived at 515 and they were gone. They charged me for two days instead of one because I brought the truck back 1 hr late due to making multiple trip because they gave me a smaller truck. The list goes on.... honestly I never write reviews if I’ve experienced horrible service but I could not let this one go.
