I made a reservation at the U-Haul in Danville through the central number and I was given a confirmation number. when I arrived (pressed for time) there were no trailers available. How does this happen when I reserve two days ahead of time? I then had to call around and find another trailer in San Ramon. I got the truck with an odometer reading of 122661.9 even though my contract said the truck had an odometer reading of 122638. I went back in the office and advised them of the discrepancy. They acknowledged the mistake in the odometer reading ( I showed them a photo of the odometer and they had evidence of the correct odometer reading from their own documents) and yet they did not correct the contract (although they said they would) and I was over billed by $29. Not good business practice!

i called the number for the location and made a reservation. I showed up for vehicle and to my surprise I had made a call to the call center without be informed. the vechicle i was promised was 20 miles away. I was never notified prior. your system stinks. the operator was great and was extremely helpful. However next time i will look to every other vendor before I consider coming back to uhaul. we have over 500 employess and we refer business to our clients all the time as we are Real estate broker. Uhaul will be removed from our preferred vendor list as of today. Get it together, your losing business.

made a reservation for a 17' truck. When I got there they didn't have my truck, it wasn't returned. The only other size was a 10' truck. I hired a crew to move me. This ended up costing me more money because of more trips back and forth. I didn't finish the move because the crew had to leave. The manager did his best to accommodate me, but it really wasn't a solution. The truck wasn't tall enough to fit the beds without taking up most of the truck. Very disappointing and stressful.

I cleaned up the truck and still, there is a $35 dollars cleaning fee Customer service sent me an email with the receipt, ask me to contact them if there was any question. I tried to ask about the cleaning fee, this shows up "5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-'5.1.1 Invalid recipient address (no such address at this site)'" Customer service gave me a fake address?!?!?!? PLEASE UHAL

The clerk who helped didn't seem to know what she was doing. If the manager hadn't come over to help, I would have been over charged and may not have been able to return it to my preferred location. I suggest more training or perhaps a change in staff.



Street sign was hard to see for driveway entry.
