How U-Haul Reviews WorkI did an early morning online check in. While the the store was closed. Upon retrieving my keys the vehicle would not start. It took quite a while to get a hold of and contact support. The direct chat was useless, the chat agent kept signing off. Once I had support I was told it would be a half hour, after I has spent nearly a half hour just trying to get responsive assistance. She did call me in about 10 min with a tech on the line and the key had to be reprogramed to the the igintion. The car started. There was four other 10' box vans at the site. Someone should have been able to remotely reassign me.
JAMES B$30 Safe Move insurance was added to the contract without my approval. I have made it clear to the operator before he pulled out the van that " I do not need any insurance".
tom dThe location is good with limited office hours so the pickup and return must be done using the app. When I try to take the required pictures during pickup, none get uploaded and it keeps telling me that I must upload pictures. Even when I say skip picture, it still tells me I must upload at least one picture.
RICHARD BAdvise customers that they will receive a text message asking them to take a photo of the rental vehicle before leaving the pickup location. I received such a text but did not notice it until it was too late.
