dianne ksomewhat conflicting signs as to where to park the vehicle upon return.
Mark SEmployee/owner had clearly had a difficult day. That happens to us all, but when in customer-facing positions it's important to be able to manage frustrations so you're not complaining your way through the entire interaction. So, this is a gentle reminder to be aware of how your mood and presentation may impact others. I was fine and hope her day improved, but others may be more put off. I had to drop off the vehicle after hours and found the instructions to do so a bit muddled. The parking area was uneven and not well-lit (though it was a dreary/rainy evening which likely made it seem even more dim). The instructions seemed to indicate that there would be a $20 charge if I called Dispatch for assistance, which I did NOT. I downloaded the app (a lengthy process as the location does not appear to have good wifi) and did the return myself, yet there was still a $20 after-hours fee. If I had realized that, I could've returned it the next day. I've rented a uhaul for this event for 21 years, and have never been charged an after-hours fee for dropping the van off when the rental office was closed. This was a disappointment.
MICHELLE LEasy and fast experience.
