Make the online check in experience a lot more online. The fact I still had to go into the office (that wasn't open because of COVID) I was put on hold for 10 minutes in the cold waiting for someone to have time to take my call so I could get my keys

The vehicle I was given for my move was not cleaned inside the cab. It was sticky and covered in some sort of spilled beverage, the floors were dirty and the dashboard was covered in dust. I still have not received any sort of acknowledgment.

The lower drivers side mirror was broken which made it difficult to see close traffic on the left side. This absolutely should have been fixed before deeming this vehicle roadworthy. The pickup process through the app did not work also. This was very frustrating. It took an hour at least for us to actually pick up the vehicle after calling the 1800 number. Finally we were able to do the process on a web browser but there were still annoying bugs especially when uploading photos. I would not recommend the 24/7 mobile pickup option to anyone. Very frustrating. We will not be using your services in the future.

Phone pickup and the U-haul app are the worst ever. The app failed to progress beyond taking a self photo. Had to switch to the website which would time out after about 15 seconds while you tried to scan your drivers license. I did NOT receive the moving blankets, but was afraid that if I disagreed with the billing I would need to start again. With the long waits for support or chat, it took an hour to pick up this truck.

Explain where the truck will be located so the customer doesn't have to search for the truck. Make sure the equipment ordered is actually in the truck.

Because of COVID the office was closed and everything was done over the phone. They confirmed some details, took my payment, and told me to hook up to a trailer with a specific number. They didn't explain anything else, tell me how long I had the trailer for, or told me about that I would be getting a text message about looking for damage before I left. I was so busy hooking up that I didn't even notice the text message until it was too late. I asked for help with the hitch while on the phone, right after I paid. The guy came out, hooked me up and walked away. No one helped me check that the lights were working and I was by myself. They weren't working, so I had to call and wait for someone else to come out and help. I recently rented a smaller trailer in Alberta and it was given to me for 48 hours. I didn't ask for that, that's just the way it was. So I assumed this rental was also for 48 hours, as AJ salvage didn't tell me any different. It sure wasn't a 48 hour rental. There were numerous issues with AJ salvage, but the fact they didn't care about safety (helping with the hitch and checking that the lights were working) is a significant concern. Not telling me about the length of the rental or to check for pre-existing damage could have really, really financially impacted me.

Interior of truck cab was dirty. There was a gatorade bottle and napkins in the door and crumbs and other stuff in the storage areas in the dash/console storage areas. Lady that booked me in was very nice and helpful.

Brown wire from trailer to extension is broken and get a bad connection so the light at night may or may not work depending on the connection. Need to disconnect connection to see where the issue is.

Pick up the phone and don't put customers on hold for 30 mins and then disconnect the line before hearing their queries. I couldn't get hold of anybody at U-Haul Saskatoon for 3 days in a row. I booked a 26' and just a day before the move I found out that it's a 15'. They changed it without letting me know. It screwed up all my plans and I had to do two moves just to fix one problem as there weren't any 26' available afterwards. Your customer service at all U-haul locations are very poor.

Useless. No place to pull in to get the trailer, the lady was rude about moving a vehicle to get the trailer. She gave no assistance in setting up the trailer and the instructions wouldn't load properly. Then she left no spot to park the trailer when I was done! Horrible service will never recommend this uhaul dealer.

Terrible service. Tried calling 6times. In total On hold for over 45min and never spoke to anyone. Took over a day to speak to someone. Then they put me on hold again. Was forced to just leave the trailer there. I will never deal with this location ever again. Plus The car hauler was terrible,in rough shape. Plate was hanging off. Chains/hooks broken and bolted together. Must have been bent because it shook my truck the whole time.
