Customer Service needs much improvement. I waited too long to get someone on the line through the day. However. I would like to highly praise Latasha Mc Master from Tennessee , for the outstanding customer service quality she provided me. Also, make the entire rental process easier to navigate and certainly less reliable n your Customer service.

I didn't interact with anyone here, it was simply a key drop off location with instructions on how to move forward. It was easy and straightforward, except that the location's address wasn't on the actual street the address was listed as. It was on a side street with minimal signage.


Possibly the worst experience I've ever had with renting a vehicle. Also the dolly didn't have a green wire tie on it so if you charge me I'll sue. Thanks.

The lock to get the key was difficult. I was unable to open it. I called the number for assistance. The woman was very helpful. Apparently those locks you need to line up exactly for the bolt to open. Well that's an understatement. Maybe using an electronic keypad would be better than the bolt with lining up letters

The van smelled like cigarette smoke upon entry. The mileage on my contract was a higher mileage than the actual mileage of the vehicle (I have photo evidence of this). Also, the renter told me the gas gauge was full. Upon entry, it was just about 3/4 of a tank.

Overall it was very much the average UHaul experience. The only negatives was that when we arrived to pick the truck up, the office was closed (at least 30 minutes before their scheduled closing, and 15mins before our scheduled pick up time). In addition to this, the truck was entirely frozen and covered with 1-2 inches of ice, which I understand after the storm that we have had, but the fact that no one had even attempted to prepare the truck for dispatch, and us as the customer having to spend a good hour to defrost just did not seem right.

The inside of the truck had puddles of water. Had to sweep it all out then use moving blankets to try and dry it.

Very, very hard to find. We arrived two hours before closing but the clerk was leaving and told us to do it by computer. Computer didn't work, and we had to call Lynn to complete the transaction. The good news was that the truck worked great.

I had trouble with the 24/7 mobile pick up of the uhaul but was thankful the office was open to help me out. Idk what I would Of done in the parking lot without the employees help.

The transmission on the truck hung in low gear for far too long, being very slow to shift.

The remote return process never seems to work. It asks to share your location and it never gets past that step. We've never been overcharged because of it but it is something you should look into.
