Not send the customer to a drop off place that doesn't do uhaul anymore and then make them drive further and have to pay for extra miles and fuel to get to the 2nd location for drop off when miles would have been good and so would have fuel level. We did the ride share option. We arrived on time but it took several minutes for anyone to connect via the app. We then had to go through the check-in process 6 times submitting a liscence/selfie over 5 times. The kind man at the location came out to help but even he could not get the system to work. Our pickup time was 9:30 but by the time we got through the system it was 10:15. The man at the location was great but you need to figure out a better online check-in system because it was not easy or quick.Alyssa L.
Train the staff on how to rent out and return a truck. I spent over half an hour waiting to get the truck rented out, then almost the same amount of time trying to get it returned. On the return the gentlemen was knowledgeable, but the system was down so he couldn't return the truck.Collin A.
This location is a skanky liquor store. I have no idea why our truck couldn't have been picked up at a legit Uhaul store that was only 2 miles away from this liquor store. We paid for it ahead of time and checked in online and then had to check in at this gross liquor store again that morning and paid the guy more money in cash...which seemed strange and we wondered if he pocketed the money. The employees need to be trained better for uhaul rentals. It took me 30 minutes to receive my truck upon arrival (as there was only 1 employee and other customers kept coming in and the employee was not knowledgeable with the computer) and 20 to 25 minutes to return it. When I arrived to return it the only employee there didn't know how to do it at all and had to call someone which I waited for him to arrive (6 to 7 minutes) and then it was the same guy from the previous day?????Angie P.

Worst moving experience EVER. The girl had no idea what she was doing. It took her over an hour to figure out how to check me out. I was charged for a dolly they didnt have. They sent me 10 miles out of my way to a laundromat to pick one up. And when I got there they had no idea what I was talking about. I had to move everything by hand. There was one clerk there with non stop customers so she kept making us wait. She said she didn't know where the key was and so we couldn't get the uhaul even though we got two calls confirming our reservation. I had to call uhaul on Floyd and she got a hold of the owner who called the transit store and told her the key was in the lockbox. Then she charged us 130.00 more than the quote so had to fix that. The person we had to pick up from was not confident in policies regarding payment, which was frustrating. However, the reservation process was AWFUL. the uhaul representative had no idea of how far pick up locations were from us. It took half an hour or more for us to get it settled, and even though we reserved a 26' truck online the closest one to us was an hour and a half away. Completely unorganized and untrained. Didn't even have the trailer we had prepaid for online. Both Uhaul online and the store completely messed up our order. Didn't have the items we purchased either and we were upcharged once there. Very disappointed. Plus now you don't even have decent tow dollies or auto trailers. I rented the U-Haul with a pick up date of August 29 and a return date of August 30 . The young lady incorrecly put my pick up date as August 25 with a due date of August 29 . I was not supposed to get charged for two additional days which I didn't rent for two additional days this was my original rental day, however I've been charged for it $60.95 this needs to be returned immediately . I received the reservation (confirmation #) 1 week in advance, although they were unable to tell me the location I would be able to pick up the trailer. Advised me to call within 48 hrs of the reservation to discover that. I called @ the 72 hr mark, was advised they still could not tell me the location & were 'surprised' that I had a reservation when 'the system' stated that no trailer was available. I called @ 48 hrs & advised the same. The agent agreed that I may be advised to make other arrangements, although they were confident that I would get a trailer, however may have to drive 60 minutes to do so. At 24 hrs, I called again & was notified of the facility where I could pick up the trailer (not the facility where I had made the reservation). in the mean time, I had scrambled to find other arrangements. I ended up using the UHaul as it better fit my needs (size) - however question the process of confirming a reservation 6-7 days out & not having a commitment to fulfill. incidently, the facility where I made the reservation in fact had many of the 5x8 i wanted when i needed it - so not sure what was going on. rate the process very poor.
