We were given the trailer and after it was hooked up to the truck the brake and turn signal light did not work. Had to take it to another uhaul location and exchange it. They should test these things. We were delayed 1 and 1/2 hour.

The owner was not overly friendly or professional and after moving that morning and the previous evening in the pouring rain caused by Tropical Storm Gordon I was charged an additional days worth of rental fees and taxes because I got the truck back an hour too late. I couldn't believe how callused the owner of the shop was especially with the weather we had experienced. I was also surprised at how little the shop owner new about operating the UHaul software. After my experience I called UHaul corporate and was told that they would submit my request to be reimbursed and that I would hear from someone within three days. Well it's now twelve days later and i still haven't heard from anyone associated with UHaul.

Windows were dirty and the windshield wipers were hard as rocks. Made for a noisy ride through the rains storms. Sounded like files cutting the glass. This seems to be the norm for all Uhaul truck, no matter where you rent them. It’s all about check them in, check them out.

I have been charged extra $100 For insurance even though I declined it. .. just drove 15 miles....added 2 gallons still the guy charged for fuel... the person working at uhaul was not friendly at all.

It was very inconvenient to have to drive out of my way to get the truck from a location other than the one that I registered for. I picked the one I did for a reason and it was listed as an option. I was told this was the closest location for this particular truck, however I passed a Uhaul location near the one I originally chose and that same truck was there. Luckily I was able to get a ride to the other location, but I would have been screwed if I couldn't. Nothing against the employee at the Route 31 location, he was nice and helpful.

Ordered the van through U Haul App for pick up at 8am. Did not get number to open box for van key. Had to wait until shop opened at 10am. Totally unacceptable!!

I’m very upset to the fact that I was told I had to fill tank back to full mark, I did this in which it took over 7 gallons of gas and I only travel 28 miles, I mention this to the gentleman , his responds was maybe I left vehicle running and he said he couldn’t do anything that I had to call U-Haul, yeah like that would help......what a joke

Start with getting there name spelled correctly. That isn't even close .2nd stock more verity. Wanted a tow-dollie. Ended up having to get ?? Car hauler. Had just enough money ?? $ to cover it no coffee, don't open until10:00 am, wanted 7or8 at least. Bye.

I would just make sure that the person is aware of what they are getting. I shouldn't have expected anything for free but the guy asked if we needed a dolly, appliance or utility and I said yes appliance. We got a utility dolly and it cost an extra $7.00 for something we didn't use because it wouldn't work for what we needed. I didn't expect the dolly to cost us $7.00. So just make sure the customer is aware of what they are getting, and how much it cost.
