The location I rented from was fine. However, the equipment I reserved was not there when I arrived. I was told Uhaul had moved my pick up to another location. I did not receive a text or email so the fault is with uhaul. The original location worked with me to get another piece of equipment that could work saving me a lot of wasted time. This has happened before with Uhaul......not being notified of a different pick up location. Spicewood hardware gets excellent. Uhaul gets poor.

Put Cargo Van make/Model in your system so that customer knows make/model you have. Ford or Dodge works for my needs but Chevrolet doesn’t due to the shape inside the van and the measurements of my equipment.

I was not contacted by a u-haul representative that my original pick up location was changed because of inventory. I finally received an email from U-Haul about this change at 4:30 pm on 8/18/18, two hours shy of our return time. The scheduled pickup time was 8:00am on 8/18/18. So by that time we had completed the move and had returned the truck. Not only did this cause us to make hired movers wait an extra two hours because we had to drive 30 min out of our way to pick up our truck, but while driving 30 min out of our way we received a flat tire. So to add to our time dilemmma we were now stranded, had to wait for someone to pick us up, and out an extra $200 to change the flat. The u-haul location itself was not the issue, it was the lack of communication from U-Haul and nonsense of urgency that made this move stressful, hectic, and costly. For a couple who is moving into their first home, expecting their first child, and planning a wedding, the last place we thought our stress would come from was the leading company of its industry.

YOU changed the drop location that I had requested. You sent me TO A DROP LOCATION an hours drive away from my destination. I had to call your Houston headquarters to re schedule drop off location closer to my destination.

Reserving the truck was difficult - kept wanting to assign the rental to a site (Austin Boats) that I *didn't* want. Also, (not all) personnel at Ace didn't understand the U-Haul systems well enough to solve the issues quickly. Basically took 3 tries to get the reservation for the correct pick up location and pick up date. But once the reservation was correct the actual pickup was easy.
