I rented the truck on 07/30/2026 and I had it until 08/01/2026. We finished moving earlier than expected so we brought the truck there at 5pm on 07/30/2026. We put the keys inside the U-Haul key box and we left. On 08/01/2026, I received a call at 9am saying we did not bring back the truck. I asked the lady if they checked the U-Haul key box and she said no, she went to check and she said she had it. I received a bill of 64$ because she never checked the box and 'checked out' the truck late... I called multiple times for a refund on their side and they never called back. I'm really furious because they did not do their job properly and never called me back for a mistake they did.

belmoudden aI got scammed on gas. I had to put 16 liters of gas for 10 kms. So, essentially, Uhaul and this location is telling me that their 9 foot van does 160 liters per 100km as fuel economy, which makes no sense because at worse it does 17 liters per 100km. And I had a light cargo. It's ridiculous to have paid 33$ of gas to do 10km and having known that, I would have rented somewhere else. Sad to see that your business model is scamming people.
Yannick BPoor service, had to go take the return picture for mileage + gas. They tried to overcharge me half a tank of gas when it was at a bit less than 3/8. If I didn<t took a picture, I would have been charged. I got threaten with a cleaning fee if I didn<t pass a broom.
