I would not however recommend Uhaul as a whole. I think its atrocious the price you charge per mile and feel the first 40km should be included. Are you kidding me 112 to use the truck for less than 24 hours. It used to cost me that to use or for 3 days for crying out loud! Bring the price per mile down or I won't ever be back! Location was GREAT on pickup but overly busy on drop off and only two staff working the counter!

I had the worst experience ever with one of your customer service workers.....I was returning one truck but had to rent another as I had not finished my move in time for my return time.....I got to your store and was told I couldn't get another truck rental.....when I tried to figure out how and why I was just told "no" and "there is nothing more could be done.... Needless to say I hadn't brought my own vehicle as I was renting another.....I told her I didn't understand and that I had no way home.... again I was told "nothing I can do" I asked where the lady was that I had last night...I waited for the lady I had to rent the first truck (Asia) and when she came in everything was done.....weird that 1 girl was able to rent to me but another was not....I don't know the girl's name that was so rude an obviously very inexperienced but she was the rudest person I ever dealt with in customer service, it took up so much of my time (I was moving) I'm sure I was there for over a hour! Asia was great but having to go through what I did with the first girl and having to stand and wait....it was the worst experience in the world and I would not go back there nor would I recommend to anyone.
This was great! The truck was ready for me and backed out, staff was so great, and everything was quick and easy.
Rented a Motercycle trailer today. Awesome staff, I've rented numerous times at other locations and this is by far the best one I've ever been too. Great employees and will definitely be returning to this location for any future rentals. Curious, friendly, helpful and quick.
My inital reservation of 22528037 was cancelled the morning of, and I had to stress out about getting another truck reserved for same day. I'd like to know why my original order was cancelled. This could have turned into a VERY difficult situation, I got lucky that there was a truck available still.
The original location in Niagara Falls gave me the wrong time. I booked the truck for 7am and the store opens at noon. Booked a driver at 7 and someone to help me carry in Toronto at 8:30am ended up switching to another location in St. Catharines and arriving in Toronto an hour late. Not impressed with the Niagara Falls location at all.
Beware, rented a 6x12 trailer to pick up a trike which was 63" wide, imagine my surprise when i went to pick up my trike the opening was only 54 inches, waisted the money on rental and 50 dollars in gas, they should have should have noted this in the dimensions. poorer but wiser
Counter check out process was very slow and maybe took longer than I think it should have. Had concerns about vehicle check back in ... basically you drop off and they check everything after you leave ... leaves wide open for charges potentially not legitimate.

I'm under quarantine and they could not help me with a pickup of the trailer or extend till end of my quarantine.
Would prefer the gas tanks to be full so all we have to do is refill instead if trying to figure out how much to put in by sixteenth of a tank

I drove 12 kms. I had the rental for less than an hour. Then they tried to tell me that it needed fuel and they'd charge me an extra $30 if I didn't bring it up to 1/4 tank. It cost me $8 to do that. There's zero chance I used $8 worth of gas in 12 kms. What a scam. Never again.
A clean trailer.
Exterior was dirty - mud all over and the interior not clean at all. For a big and new location it appears staff don't do their job. Also in the interior a mask, Covid-19, was not removed from the last rental which indicates this truck was never cleaned. Very poor job!!!!! This was the second time I rented a truck from U-Haul, first experience good, this experience very bad! Never again!
As a long time UHaul customer personally and commercially, I had a VERY unpleasant experience with 72 Vine St Location. I rent out a 20 feet truck on Dec 3 for my moving, I have movers booked Dec 3 to load all my furnitures and then on Dec 4 morning to unload my things at my new house. However the truck had battery problem and was not able to start. I contacted road side assist on 7:58, they advise me that 45mins ETA. I contact my movers, and they let me know that in this case they will have to reschedule because they are fully booked that day and the day after, so I got rescheduled to Dec 5. I called Uhaul after the truck was fixed and explained that the truck is fully loaded and that my movers only have time to finish the job Dec 5. The woman on phone was nice and understanding and offered extension, she even asked if I would need to extend to Sunday(Dec 6) morning. I told her no need, I can finish and return by 6pm Dec 5. And when I ask if there is extra charge she told me no, because truck problem was not my fault, it'd be free extension. I was happy at this point and think highly of how the problem was resolved. However on Dec 5 when i went to return the truck, things got a dramatic turn. The service guy wants to charge me 3 days of rental for truck and equipment for over $400. I explain to him that I called upfront to get a free extension. He would not believe me. He would not check phone record, and then go about to telling me that truck was fixed in time, and start blaming me that it was my choice not to return the truck. The communication was unfriendly and insulting. I told him look, there is no way you can find movers same day and my movers have already done half the job. After some meaningless argument, he said he can knock off 1 days charge as if it is a good deal. I said no, please call your manager. The service guy then unwilling called "traffic control centre" and instead of trying to explain the situation, he come up a different story of his own: "I have a customer not happy to pay for extension because he had to pay movers. His truck had minor problem that is fixed in 30 mins and he had the truck for 3 days.â€ By not communicating all the details and denying the fact free extension was offered upfront, he then turn around and told me control centre decided I have to pay 2 days, and threat me that either I pay or I will get blacklisted. What a great way to treat unhappy customer. I also have question about this guy's professional qualification as customer service, he was complaining the whole time when he was providing me the service. He even insulted me by saying â€œAs a grown man, you cant move it? At least you can find other alternativesâ€¦ its too late nowâ€¦ blah blah blahâ€ Excuse me? I feel personally insulted. Whoever looks at the reviews please check all the phone recordings. If this is not resolved, me and my construction company will not be using UHaul ever again. In addition I will post reviews publicly about this experience and complain to consumer affairs.
received my receipt this morning, and was very disappointed to learn I would be charged an extra day's rental (and insurance coverage) for being 90 minutes late. I asked at the location if there would be extra charges if I came in before 8pm, as my 6 hour rental period was just an estimate. They said no. I called to let them know I'd be late, but no one picked up, and then they contacted me and let them know and they said it would be fine. Then I got this receipt saying I am basically paying double. There was little transparency to this process and I'd appreciate if the problem was rectified.
The process of both renting a unit and a truck went very smoothly. The storage units were new and clean and impressive how an old factory building has been adapted.
