How U-Haul Reviews WorkContact at the location was nice and very helpful. Unfortunately, the brakes on the trailer I picked up were not working. Not the locations fault. No way they could have known.
John FThe equipment I reserved was not available at the location I reserved it at. When I did pick it up, at a location much farther away, they didn't have the extras I _RESERVED_ like 12 blankets, a furniture dolly. and a hand truck. I was told when I picked up the vehicle that I could call customer service and they would find another location that had what I had reserved. I called, and they sent me about 4 miles away to an actual U-Haul store (rather than the self storage place I reserved from or the Exxon station I had to go to in order to get the truck). The U-Haul store I went to made me PURCHASE the equipment outright because they didn't have my reservation. This is the second time in a row that I've had to switch locations and having problems with reservations (I was moving my college age daughter). I will NEVER use U-Haul again. If I ever have to do this again, I'll try Budget or something. DO NOT USE U-HAUL. All the employees are nice and professional, but their systems are completely broken and useless.
