frank jI reserve a Uhaul months ago with a place on Trolley road to pickup on Friday. When I got there a sign on door stated on vacation till the 19th. This is not a way to allow that place to rent uhaul. Called uhaul main number which promise me $50 credit never got it. Transfer me to reservation and they stated didn't know anything about it. But they did find this place and thank god they had a truck and was very helpbful. Had to move my Mother into Assistance Living that day. So this place gets 4 stars
Bruce LVehicle was very clean and staff was super friendly. Will definitely use again
Teri sTo start, this was not the location I put in my rental for a was no where near where I need to be. Secondly, they want to charge outrageous amounts for miles driven. The cost for picking up from this location versus the other one ended up costing almost $80 for the miles. Third, the app doesn’t work to check in and check out. Pretty tidy to pay $300 for a one day rental. Remind me of the days when people would charge $.99 for an item on eBay but then charge you $20 for shipping and handling. Seems like a great deal upfront, but it’s a baiting switch of being able to get it from your neighborhood location and then change it to something that is almost 15 miles away, which ends up being a 30 mile round-trip in the truck at $1.39 per mile, not to mention the amount of miles you have to drive with a second car to get you over there and back twice, which ends up being an additional 60 miles on your own vehicle. Reality of it is that I could’ve hired a couple of people with their own moving truck for about half of what it cost me just for the Uhaul rental alone. Total ripoff. Won’t ever use Uhaul again and I would highly suggest that nobody else uses them either. I guess at least this time the truck didn’t break down on me twice in the first 45 miles like the last one I rented that didn’t end up having any working air-conditioning and the brakes not working.
